As far as I can remember, I've always played a Fighter in Maplestory and there is a problem that has persisted to stay in the game, even on this server. I dont know if you could call this a ''bug'', but it doesn't seems like something that would be there on purpose. There is a problem with the warrior 2nd job skill named ''Final Attack''. More precisely, the way it distributes damage. The tooltip says: «With a certain success rate, another attack follows after performing an attacking skill. Only works with a one-handed or two-handed weapon in hand.» This passive skill can only be triggered after the use ''Slash Blast'' and ''Power Strike'' with a 60% chance. The activation triggers another hit that deals 250% damage. ''Power Strike'' deals 10% more damage than ''Final Attack'', but since the triggered hit is quite fast, it's not a problem DPS wise. The problem comes with ''Slash Blast'' which is supposed to deal 130% damage to up to 6 ennemies. When ''Final Attack'' is triggered while using ''Slash Blast'' it distributes 250% damage between the ennemis hit. If there are only 2 ennemies, they receive approximately 125% damage each, which is fine. But if a mob of 6 ennemies is hit, they receive about 41% damage each... I dont think I need to explain myself here. The damage following this is patheticly low compared to any other class. Even if I said earlier that the triggered attack is fast, it still takes time and affects mobing capabilities. Not leveling the skill raises ''Slash Blast'' damage, but lowers the damage of ''Power Strike''. I dont know if fixing this is possible and if it is, I guess another way of distributing the damage would need to be added. it isn't much of a problem for Pages and Spearmens, since they get new skills once they reach 3rd job, but Crusaders keep this problem with them until 4th job and it really affects them DPS wise. Matt, I think he's saying that no, it isn't an actual bug, it's just something that Nexon probably should have thought out better, since Final Attack for warriors really messes up Slash Blast. Yes, it's how it was on GMS/EMS etc, but it might be nice to have it as something potentially useful for warriors rather than being the skill that you avoid by dumping points in first job skills in preference!
