If a Red Katana out damages a Stonteooth on any attack potions without SI, wouldn't that mean a Red Katana is better since most people don't have SI available at all times? And if people truly did have SI available at all times wouldn't a Dragon Claymore be better? It's only 4 extra attack, but for both the Red Katana and Dragon Claymore you can ignore the dex requirement and go more for Strength equipment like the overall.
A dragon claymore is the true endgame sword for a hero, they're just rare as hell. The thing about using an RK/pyrope instead of an ST though is that those calcs include a 30 atk shield which basically doubles your cost. And anyone who can afford to make or buy a 30 atk shield on top of a perfect sword can afford to sink a fraction of the cost into an SI mule.
Stonetooth is probably the most reliable end game option for a hero, it's fast without SI, it's cheaper than a 1-hand sword + off hand shield, it's easy to get on the market, and the dex requirement is low enough that you wouldn't have to worry about it in late game
Most heros are way better off with rk/pyrope/sparta vs a st even with si if they arent very funded. In order for st to beat sparta you need a lot of funding and need to be on stoppers/apple. End game without si pyrope>rk>st>sparta>claymore But with si st is the best (after claymore which is hard to get clean above 111).
Wouldn't 1h sword require a lot more funding in the end though? Cause you have to scroll both a sword and a shield
Lots of factors but 2h swords have a better multipler than 1h swords (4.6 vs 4) so the more attack you can get the better 2h swords get, so a perfect st will beat a perfect sparta/shield. But at lower funsing levels a sparta is veryyyyyy cheap and a 20ish shield isnt too much. However even decent st go for alot so your better off with 1h sword.
