As you can see in the video, some mobs never freeze. It doesn't matter if I use Ice Strike or Cold Beam.
Bumping for the same issue. It's really inconsistent and really frustrating. Some days the majority of them freeze, some days the majority of them don't. Grinding at petris is an absolute chore and potion drain when they aren't freezing.

I've actually been tracking this issue for some time now. It's definitely weird - sometimes, freezing monsters (with any skill that freezes) will work 100% of the time, and sometimes it won't work consistently (like in Raflos' video). The server is seemingly sending the correct data to make the monster appear frozen as it does work some of the time... but obviously something's off, and I feel like it's something wrong with the client rather than the server. For those affected, when you notice the issue arise, can you try restarting your computer and attempt to freeze monsters again? Edit: Also, on top of it working sometimes, something I've noticed is that if you freeze a monster and it doesn't appear frozen, but you exit and reenter the map before it's supposed to become unfrozen, it'll correctly appear frozen, no matter what. That's what leads me to think it's some weird client issue (or something that I need to research a bit more).
Alright today I logged on and only half were freezing, so I restarted my computer and that fixed it. So it must be client side right? Also after about 10 minutes of training I noticed 2 mobs were immune again, but it's been about 10 minutes since that and I haven't seen any more immune mobs.
I find this has to do entirely on which compatibility mode I run the client in. I run on Windows 10 OS, and when I use Win XP Pack 3 compatibility mode, freezing works properly. However, when I ran on Windows 7 compatibility mode, freezing only worked on 20% of mobs hit. I asked a friend who also ran on Windows 10 to try the same compatibility modes, and they received the exact same results. We are both WKs/Paladins.
I actually didn't know that, and just figured it was a slight bug with the server.... I'll give this a shot later today on my Pally Thanks!
