Welcome to the official Fryslan Horntail thread. This thread will stay up to date about all Horntail runs I will be hosting. UPDATE: PREQUEST MUST BE DONE! CAN NOT WARP IN ANYMORE WITH TELE ROCK! Date and time next run: Wednesday, 3rd Dec. 12PM PST/8PM GMT. Squad currently CLOSED to new members. 1) Rules: 1) Be ready at least 10 minutes before the run starts. The run does NOT wait for anyone. 2) If you can not make the run you signed up for, tell the squad leader (usually me) before the actual run starts so a back up person can enter the squad instead. 3) Required attack potions will be red ciders at least. Do take at least 2 onyx apples as well. Energizers or below will not be used during the run. 4) Do not spam. If anything is up, tell your party leader and let them talk to the squad leader. This is to avoid confusion and frustration. 5) When Horntail dies, do NOT in any case, ever, jump down the the bottom platform. But hang on the ropes instead. Squad leader will call out names of people who get to loot a pendant and the egg. The squad leader will take the books and hand them out after the run. 6) Pet loots OFF at all times. Pet HP/MP ON. 7) Most important of all, respect one another and have fun. We are here to have a good time and get all those juicy loots. 2) Sharing and point system: Attending Horntail, 1 point. Completing the preheads, 2 points. (3 points) Making it to Horntail 50% of it's total HP, 1 point. (4 points) Full kill, another 2 points. (6 points) This will grand you a total of 6 points per run max. There will be 2 seperated lists for points. Both lists get the same amount of points per run, so for a full run +6 points to both lists. (Current points for squad members in 2nd post) Not showing up for the run (without cancelling it before the actual run) -1 point. No penalty given to people who cancel their run at the squad leader or leave a message on this forum thread. As soon as you have recieved your book, your Mastery book points will go back to 0. I am using this point system so the people who do attend horntail but fail to complete it at times still have a good chance of getting their book, just at a slower rate. Everyone should be rewarded for the time and effort they put into this. 3) Requirements: 1) Be at least level 155. 2) Ranged attackers having at least 5.6k HP pre-hyperbody (9k+ with) 3) Melee attackers having at least 10k HP pre-hyperbody 4) At least 2 onyx apples and 20 red ciders. The more apples, the better, just to be safe. 4) Current drops: Item Amount Passed Airstrike 5 1 Berserk 7 2 Blizzard 3 1 Concentrate 3 1 Enrage 3 2 Genesis 6 1 Heaven's Hammer 7 1 Meteor Shower 5 0 Maple Warrior 3 1 Smoke Screen 3 0 Snipe 5 1 Time leap 4 1 Triple Throw 3 1 Horntail's Necklace 46 Nine Spirit's Egg 14 5) Squad: (Reminder, parties can and most likely will be changed. The firm parties will be up 30 minutes before the run starts so party leaders have enough time to fix their parties.) I think 3 back up bishops will be a bit over the top. Seeing how I only need 3 on a run and already have 4 on it + 1 back up. Sorry guys, I simply can't take everyone

It's pretty simple but I suggest the squad ldr be down when ht dies and hit a quick ss with puush or whatever program u use so you dont lose items behind rocks and stuff. You guys prob alrdy do this but still. Easy and not harmful suggestion if you don't.
Wait wat. I thought the myth said there is one member in Fryslan who was able to not only 1hko Horntail but also tame it? It was said to be the legendary master of long ranged sniping. What happened to him f4
Aren't 30 people max for a squad? Will there be an option to add a 4th party if enough people are interested? Because in that case I'm signing up for that, if not I'll wait until the next run.
