Character Name: Lothbrok (Heus, and a freshly made one called VietKieu for login testing, all on the same account) Where are you having an issue: Login screen Date and Time when issue occurred (GMT): Multiple times across 2-3 weeks Details of the issue: I am unable to log in (any of) my characters. I'm playing on a Macbook M1 2020 with Crossover. Game crashes after I enter my PIC. I have tried to log in on a windows, and I could log in comfortably there so it seems like a Mac issue and not my account specific. Beforehand, I could log in after 1-3 times of trying but now it doesn't work at all. Failure to log in seems to occur after update 90 (cannot pinpoint if that's actually true). Consulted some forum posts and discord a few times but there does not seem to be a fix for this yet. I have tried the following: Re-installing bottles containing Mapleroyals with different Windows operating systems (f.e. XP 32-bit, W-7 32bit, W-10 64 bit etc.); Disabling the PIC (crashes when I try to log in clicking ''Select a Character"); Resetting the PIC (crashes when i try to fill in a new PIC); Re-starting my macbook; I've read on discord that waiting at the PIC screen before entering works for some people, in my case I waited between 1-5 minutes and it also crashes; Some other stuff like pressing enter instead of mouseclick to log in and other methods would not resolve the issue, it crashes still. Crash does not give an error code. It just turns black and closes like you would exit the game. Could it mean that it fails to connect to the server in any way? Maybe the devs could give insight on why this happens? Thank you in advance
This happened to me for a few weeks as well after update 90. I tried all those same things you did, and then randomly the other day I just tried again as I usually do and it worked! Sooo strange. I wish I knew what I did that fixed it! ): Or if it was just something that fixed itself haha I know how frustrating this is!!
I have solved it (after a few weeks of trying) but unfortunately, I didn't find a specificsolution. It kind of just started working again on its own. The only thing I will say that works for me currently is using my mouse to click my character, click "select a character", enter my PIC, and click "ok" using my mouse. If I use my keyboard, it crashes.
