Not Bug Game keep crashing after clicking "start"(login screen after selecting character)

    Hi, I'm new here, after selecting character and pressing "start" game is crashing and not responding... help please..

    Maybe try (the last two steps in) this guide.

    I'm having the exact same issue. I looked at the guide. I already have it allowed through the firewall, and also I've tried every compatibility setting. XP SP 2 causes a crash on launch {CoInitialize not called}, while XP SP3 works normally. Windows 7 compatibility mode works fine if you're on windows 10.

    Still can't get past character select though.

    I figured it out, and it made me feel stupid. I downloaded the new client from version 51, but not the new game files from version 50... Maybe OP did the same thing.

    Thanks for posting your results: many don't share their own solution.
    Either because they can't be bothered, or because they're afraid of looking stupid.
    But we learn from our mistakes, so we can be less wrong the next time.
