I was going to check when I was done serving my ban, so I ran the client, but the game wouldn't start. Does anyone know what the issue might be? I've uninstalled and reinstalled version 62 again, using the same setup. If you ask me what happens when I run the game? Nothing, it asks for the administrators permission to run the game, as maple usually does, then it shows the hourglass next the the cursor for a little while, but nothing happens.
Did you download the new client that was released yesterday. Try rebooting your computer also. Sounds like you have an existing process running.
Just checking - you've installed the new client from the download page, haven't you? Also, have you made an exception for it in your firewall/antivirus program? Ooops, we posted at almost the same time, Matt!
I found the problem, it was due to another private server which has only caused problems I can write the name to warn people, but I guess that goes as "advertisement" even though it is meant to be the opposite. Had to use alternative methods to end the process (reboot the computer and delete the game as fast as possible before it had time to take over again, I'm such a technical genius :3)
