I've been trying to play this game bc my friend told me I should and it's been 2 hours and it wont even start up. I tried changing compatibility settings for BOTH setup and MapleRoyals.exe and tried everything. I'm currently on a Windows 8 PC with DirectX11 and setup is telling me "I should have DirectX8.1 or later" but I do have DirectX11. I have all game files and when i run the game it says "Failed in finding proper screen mode for Gr2" can someone please help me? I tried everything.. restarting PC and reinstalling, I really want to play this game

i did and tried your suggestions on those threads and you were asking about if someone uses an HDMI or something to connect to the monitor and I do use an HDMI, is that a problem?
No that shouldn't be a problem. I don't have any other suggestions besides those you can find in the technical help section, it's something on your end but what is a bit of a mystery.
