I'm relatively new to mapleroyals, started about a month ago. My bishop is 122 and i'm currently leeching my NL who is level 6x at the moment. My question is should i focus on gearing my bishop with mage int gear and gene 20/30 to get stronger and 1 hit skele as well as potentially selling leech? Or should I not worry about my bishops strength and just be fine with 2 hitting to leech myself. Other notes: My NL has decent HP wash gear, i invested around 2b+ on int gear. I'm not really in a rush for anything, most of my APR will come from voting. What do you guys think is better. Stronger bishop or focus on NL?
From your post may I assume that you want to main a NL and only own a bishop for leeching purposes? If thats the case then just focus on your NL. You dont need a stronger bishop since you are leeching yourself.
Yeah i pretty much only made this bishop to leech myself. I don't really plan on selling high level leech unless theres a good return on investment in gene20/30 Appreciate the feedback!
Then yes you can just focus on your NL. You can actually get a lot of exp from doing questlines. Solo-ing ellin pre gets you from lvl 100-114 . Doing ellin pq from 100-135 is a viable option though its hard to find a party that suits your availability. Its actually good exp and its free. Plus you get to own ephenia's ring and ellin's earring which is best in slot in my opinion. You'll get funds through bossing/apq/daily 8k nx so dont worry too much about it and have fun on your NL. Having a bishop to sell leech is advantageous and acts as an extra option to get mesos but its not mandatory. I dont own a magician myself if it means anything. Good luck!
