GENDER ON EQUIPS

Masculinity and femininity, and even gender, are social constructs. Society influences the differences between men and women, also with clothing. Anyway, men and women can wear feminine and masculine clothes – which is why I propose that this is made possible in MapleRoyals.

The biggest reason is so that male and female characters can use good equipment regardless if it says "M" or "F". Two popular equips, as examples, are Doros and Doroness robes and Sauna robes. You should be able to use a slim, pink or feminine robe as a man, and a baggy, blue or masculine robe as a woman.

 

Actually, you can if you're a pro packet editor.

On a non troll note, pretty sure this isn't possible as a legitimate feature. I do wish all NX items were gender neutral but alas.

Just make a character for the gender you're fine with...

 

That's not the point of my post. I'm asking if gender locked equips can be made useable for males and females. Mostly because of scrolling, but also so we can wear whatever we want.

 

Okay I just realized this but pirates are able to wear unisex overall...

HOW IS THIS EVEN BALANCED AND FAIR LOL GIVE OTHER CLASSES UNISEX PLZ

 

I think the level 110 overall is unisex for all classes

 

I figure I should mention that there are tons of NX equips that can be equipped by any gender, especially in the overalls category. So if you're a male character but you want to wear a dress, go there

 

Is this thread about your choice in fashion and wanting to wear/have-the-look-of female gear when being a male char or vice versa? Or just a complaint regarding having difficulties finding specific equipment (i.e. female thief/warrior gear) and looking to be able to gear your character up much easier?

As a female player, I agree it is harder for some female gear to be found (FM for example) as often as we see a male gear. However, I never found that as a problem rather an incentive to work on my gear more. Yes, male thief/warrior gears are found on leeching places but female thief/warrior isn't too hard to find either. Drop rate is pretty much the same, just farm for your character there. This had been issued many times before and nothing has changed, I don't see how a new complaint would change anything regarding that. If you're a male character, then I don't know what are you complaining about as male gear is easier to find.

As for your fashion sense, if you're a person who uses NX gear, then I won't believe that this is about your fashion preferences. There are many unisex outifts in cash shop both in regular and in donor part. Just have a surf around there. NX is free ... If you're a 100% maple gear person at all times, then unfortunately not much you can expect on that part. That is how the game was made and it should come as no-shock to you as you probably knew, since everyone who played/plays Royals has played MapleStory before, that you can only use your gender's equips when creating your character as male or female.

 

I know that it’s just a game, that’s why I say it’s mostly for scrolling. Just because an equip is meant for males or females shouldn’t mean that the other gender can’t use it.

I'm sorry but I don't understand it .. If it's mostly for scrolling purposes, you can very well scroll opposite-gender gear without any problem ..
