It used to only happen like once a week, but now it's happening daily. What happens is, I'll be in a map killing/training, and all the sudden I'll just get insane lag, that stops all the mobs from moving, I take no damage(but can still die apparently, cause I've died a few times, thank god for my safety charms) and it is completely frozen for between 30 seconds to 1 minute. Game then disconnects me to log in screen. My character stays in game for up to another minute, saying I cant log in. Finally I'll get to relog in, I'll be in game for up to about 30 seconds(but usually less than 10, sometimes it's instant), and then the same thing happens. I've literally sat that and done this process like 40-50 times in a row, non stop. Until I just leave for a few hours, come back, and it's better(sometimes). I have no idea what could be causing this, and none of my friends do either because it does not happen to them nearly like it happens to me. I have the latest everything for mapleroyal when I downloaded it, I'm running on windows 7, and I never had this problem happen at all until a few weeks ago. Is it the server, or me? Side note: all my drivers are up to date, I run scans on my computer regularly, I have not downloaded anything else since I downloaded maple. And the problem will persist even if I fully close the game, or even restart my computer.
Does it only happen with one character or all your characters? Try connect to a different network when it happens like your phones 3g/4g and see if that makes a difference.
It is with all my chars, and I tried connecting to my internet with a wire, and tried other internet options, and it still didnt work
Have you tried disable/uninstall any antivirus and firewall programs on your computer? This is most likely something on your side and trying to see if it's computer or network related is a good start.
I've tried using Sandboxie but it still does it. If that counts. and I've run several virus programs to check, but found nothing.
I've disabled all of them. This is kind of a junk use laptop so I dont mind going without them so I can game. But I havnt had them enabled in ages.
Is anyone else using the internet? (Parents, siblings). Tell them to stop streaming or torrenting. Are you connecting wirelessly? Try connecting to the internet using a cable instead.
its mostly when its just me, nobody else. and Ive tried using a cable, and it still happens. Though its been getting better the last few days. However I am getting dced every time I get to zakum JQ part 2. I get like 10min in room 2, then I keep dcing.
no error code. It kicks me out to the log in screen saying "unable to connect to game server" The same kind as I mentioned earlier in the post. Just trying zak JQ I do keep relogging. Because I hate doing jump quests, and it really irritates me to have to keep doing it. And everybody says there is no way I can just be put in part 2 of the JQ, even though I'm getting dced from it.
Play on a different character or account and see if the lag happens there as well EDIT: Also, try rejoining your guild if you have one.
Ive tried different characters and accounts, same thing happens. Really? It might be because of my guild? I never even though that was a possibility 0_o
