Getting Royals to work in Windows 10?

Being the type of person I am, I saw free upgrade to Windows 10 and immediately said yes. However, I have found that since I downloaded the new OS, Mapleroyals simply will not run. I can go into more details on exactly what error messages I get and so on if there isn't a known compatibility issue. I would like to get back to mapling as soon as possible, so if one of the tech guys could help me out, I'd appreciate it.

I'm not very technical, but have you tried running royals with compatibility mode set to Windows XP (or others, mess around with it). Have you tried running it as an administrator?

 

After a week I can tell you that royals is inconsistant.
Sometime it works well with compability mode and sometime it doesn't.
Sometime you have to run the client multiple time before it opens and sometime you don't.
I still think it runs better than Windows 8.1

 

it was almost flawless on windows 7, but now I can't seem to get it to work...

 

If you do a quick forum search for compatibility issues, there are a million other threads that could help you out.

 

I found a better solution anyway, I just uninstalled it.
