[GM Event] Mind and Body Challenge

The Mind & Body Challenge will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2018 13:00 (GMT) server time in Channel 18. If you wish to participate, please read through the rest of the thread thoroughly as it will not be mentioned again in-game.

For this event, there will be a total of 4 sub-events. To stand a chance in winning prizes, you must participate and reach the last sub-event. They are:

1. Raging Leg Day @ Ludibrium Pet Walkway
2. Question & Answer at OX Quiz
3. Secret JQ
4. Name that Item

1. Raging Leg Day
This will be the first sub-event of this entire challenge. If you wish to participate, please proceed to Ludibrium Pet Walkway at least 5 minutes before the start of the event.

Monsters will be spawned around the map to make it more challenging, so please do not attempt to start jumping until told to do so. Failure to comply with this simple rule will result in you being disqualified from the entire event (i.e. even if you reach the top first, your attempts will be voided).

For this sub-event, there will be a total of 10 winners. Each winners will earn some points as shown:

• 1st = 6 points
• 2nd = 5 points
• 3rd = 4 points
• 4th = 3 points
• 5th = 2 points
• 6th to 10th = 1 point

At the end of this sub-event, the 10 winners will proceed to the next sub-event, Question & Answer while the rest will be eliminated.

2. Question & Answer
This will be the second sub-event of this entire challenge. If you made it here, congratulations! You are one of the 10 winners from the previous sub-event, and are one step closer to winning some awesome prizes!

For this sub-event, there will be a series of short-answer questions which you will need to answer. The first player who answers a question correctly will earn 1 point. However, answering incorrectly will lose 1 point. So if you're unsure of the answer, it would be wise NOT to answer at all. If you wish to answer, please only submit your answer ONCE so as to prevent the chat box from being flooded.

At the end of the Q&A, the bottom 3 scorers will be rewarded 10,000 NX and eliminated from the event, while the rest will advance to the next sub-event, Secret JQ.

3. Secret JQ
This will be the third sub-event of this entire challenge. If you made it here, congratulations! You are one of the 7 winners from the previous sub-event, and are another step closer to winning some awesome prizes!

For this sub-event, It will be held at a secret JQ map that has already been randomly decided. Similar to the first sub-event (but with no monsters spawned), each winner of this round will earn some points as shown below.

• 1st = 6 points
• 2nd = 5 points
• 3rd = 4 points
• 4th = 3 points
• 5th = 2 points
• 6th & 7th = 1 point

At the end of this sub-event, the bottom 2 scorers will be rewarded 15,000 NX and eliminated from the event, while the rest will advance to the next sub-event, Name that Item.

4. Name that Item
This will be the final sub-event of this entire challenge. If you made it here, congratulations! You already won some prizes, but obtaining the best prize would be up to your ability to ace this final sub-event!

Unlike the previous sub-events, this sub-event has a special twist - you only have 10 seconds to answer for each round. The first player who answers correctly for each round will earn 2 points, AND everyone else will lose 2 points. However, answering incorrectly will lose 5 points. But if no one else answers within 10 seconds, everyone loses 1 point.


Congratulations if you made it to the final sub-event! The prizes that awaits you are:
1st Place (player with the highest score): 1x Special NX equip (pre-selected from NPC Maple Administrator) and 20,000 NX.
2nd & 3rd Place (player with the 2nd and 3rd highest score): 1x Tradable chair of choice (pre-selected from NPC Maple Administrator) and 15,000 NX.
Note: The 2nd winner will choose his/her chair first, and the 3rd winner will choose from the remaining options.
4th & 5th Place: 1x Untradable chair of choice and 10,000 NX.
All 5 winners will win 1x Congrats from GM (USE) as well.
