Hello everyone, This is unfortunate news because I really loved this server, and played it every time I was free from work / school. I even donated my second day in to support this server. My friend in real life Discreetly introduced me to this server, and I'm glad he did, because I had fun during my 1 month here. I wish I could of played longer, but unfortunately, we both got permanently banned for an accidental first offense of "account sharing" because he logged on my desktop 2 times in September I'd love to thank my Buddy List, and the lovely guild I've grown to know and love - Infinity. I haven't taken many screenshots to share my story to you guys, but I only have this one here, with GM Annie. It happened during my first week, when i encountered a problem with my pink bean being glitched. It still isn't fixed btw. I'd love to thank: - GM Tommie for helping me when my 2nd job advancement got glitched. - Poachin for being an awesome Shadower , keep farmin' them rags! - Silachan for being there every time i needed help and training with me at GS2 - Intensity aka N8N for giving me a Zhelm and being an amazing guild leader - I'll still remember playing the Mafia game in FM - Ukelele for also being there when i needed help, p/c's, etc - grats on the chair btw. - Romina for her great humour - HattoriHanzo the Kerning City King - HBJuggernaut for being one of my first friends at level 1, when I introduced myself via Smega. - Everyone from FM, illuminate for answering my whispers and questions, and some other players that helped me with prices and being friendly as well. - and everyone else from the guild, and all my BL that i did not mention If any of you have facebook, twitter, etc. Please inbox me, i'd love to stay in touch. I'll miss those nights staying up until 3-4 AM Eastern even though i worked at 8AM lol This really is a nostalgic experience, and hope more people join this great server. Thank you all~
Yup, you did something sooooooo deserving of a permaban. But yet there are vote abusers,botters who are just getting a tempban. Seriously staff these are the type of cases that you yourselves have to feel bad for permabanning them. This is crazy.
Yup, i honestly don't know what to say anymore. Specially after all the time I've put in and my donations. It hurts.
I'll be honest, I'm new to this server and I really afraid to get banned, even if I'm almost sure I follow all the rules. People here get banned without any warnings and most of the bans are perm bans. What if one day I buy a glove that someone used hacks on to make it perfect and I wouldn't even guess it hacked? Perm ban as I saw in few cases... Just... unfair. Too strict punishment. I hope that your post will wake up someone who will believe your version and double-check the situation. And if not, well, good luck man.
The only people who make/sell legitimate perfect items are very well-known in the community. Should be pretty obvious.
Well, it's might sound weird but I don't remember people usually. I normally buy good items for cheap, I don't look up for seller history...
Even though I don't really believe your story (not having seen him for over a month to "he was on my computer 2 days ago"), it's sad to see you go because of the servers rules. And @nfsalon, yes, playing here is like walking on a mine field. If you accidentally break a rule that doesn't hurt anyone, better not be in a public place because, odds are, someone will snitch on you. The strictness of the rules here has shaped this community to be cancerous, sadly.
Honestly the only downside to this server is its strict rules but we have accepted them when joining. Its just scary to see little mistakes and simple things getting people so harshly banned. I dont know if you remember but some guy dropped a bunch of white scrolls in fm and a ton of people got banned for having them, noobs picking them up not knowing that they are rare on this server, or peoples pets looting. I know that the gms need to follow the rules to a T because if they dont and they make an exception then it could cause problems for the future or bring up problems from the past but every single case is diffrent and if you handle everyone the same way you will be hurting innocent people.
I believe the people in that situation who were innocent only got banned until they appealed, and when proven innocent they were unbanned. I wasn't staff at the time but it sounded like a preventative measure since they were afk, and there was no way to retrieve the duped items. But honestly? If you suddenly get a ton of white scrolls in a low rate server like this, isn't it kind of obvious something is up? Whenever that happens you should report it to a GM, not keep the scrolls and think it's fine.
Quitting drop for example? But lets say its so obvious, I agree with you, but most of people work hard to make some mesos and suddenly they see white scrolls. It's really hard to ignore it, no matter what level you are... And BAM you are banned. The hacker doesn't make any profit from spamming the FM with white scrolls, so why do the people have to get punished? They don't help him...
because they're duped and it ruins the economy- and you'd be profiting off a hacker People who are quitting and drop their items don't usually have hundreds of white scrolls. That's the situation that Totalglamour was talking about- someone had duped a ton of WS and dropped them and gave them away, some people who had pet loot on in the FM were temp banned so the items could be removed and the situation investigated. From what I read in the threads at the time.
I've been playing for almost three months now and recently found out what a WS is. It's time to walk away from my noob life before shiZ goes down for me ): I found out what a bf was not too long ago too. "You want a bf leech? " thought the guy was trying to be my maple boyfriend who gives me leech.." Lol
