Gr2D problem

i have Gr2D problem and i dont know how to fix it..
when i open MapleStory is says : Faild in finding proper screen mode for Gr2D
please help me i want to keep playying

 

I don't like that error seems to be caused by so many different things.

Are you using VMware or sandboxie?

 

nope, i searched for tutorials of how to fix it and i couldnt understand the problam.
heres some things that probly important for you to know: yesterday i restarted my computer and before i did the game worked and now after the restart i touched some things in control panel to make the view of my computer nicer and eazier to use and i think i toughed something that coused this problem so i almost sure the problem is something in the control panel>>Display

One of the common issues with gr2d is your display settings, if you try change that it might help.

Screen resolution*

 

well i did opend everything he said but i dont have Troubleshoot there its just not showing there..

 

Since you said it worked before did you change your screen resolution?

 

em.. its the same as its was before i restarted my computer
im correctly using a laptop and i have a cable connected to a bigger screen, at the big screen my max resolution is 1920 x 1080 and at my laptop the max resolution is 1366 x 768 ill try play with the resolution of both and ill update you

i tried to open the game with couple resolutions and its didnt work with any..
i think the problem is with something els you think i should install the game again ?

 

Did you use that second screen to play the game, or did it stop working after you started using it?

 

i cant open the game with both screens not even with my laptop screen so i dont think the problem is in the resolution before the restrat the game worked for me with both of the screens

 

Since you said it worked before it makes it a bit harder finding out what you could have changed.

• Maybe caused by you have different screen resolution on your laptop and monitor
• Try changing hardware acceleration

 

how do i change it ?

 

Running the game in a compatibility mode might be a good idea if you don't.

Right click the client > properties > compatibility tab > Run in compatibility for > Windows 98/WIndows ME

BTW the hardware acceleration i dont have it i went to there and i dont have troubleshoot tab.. but its nothing realy at list i can play maplestory now

 

Same for me I don't have that tab either, I think because the graphic card doesn't support it.
