I’ve noticed that a lot of new players who choose Warrior as their first character often struggle in the early game due to one major problem: Accuracy. Nothing feels worse than constantly seeing “Miss” pop up every time you swing your weapon.

This guide is aimed at helping newbie warriors overcome this accuracy hurdle so you can enjoy smoother grinding and faster leveling from the start.

:donke: Why Accuracy is a Problem for New Warriors
Warriors are strong and tanky, but they start out with very low accuracy, which makes it hard to hit mobs - especially higher level ones like Ligators or Jr Necki. Missing attacks slows down your leveling and makes training frustrating.

    Accuracy Needed for Common Mobs
(Note: If your character's level is lower than the mob's, you'll need even more accuracy to hit consistently.)
    • Green Mushroom (Lv. 15) – 19 Accuracy
    • Horny Mushroom (Lv. 22) – 26 Accuracy
    • Zombie Mushroom (Lv. 24) – 26 Accuracy
    • Wild Boar (Lv. 25) – 30 Accuracy
    • Jr. Necki (Lv. 21) – 92 Accuracy (very high avoid)
    • Ligator (Lv. 32) – 44 Accuracy
    Formula: (55+2*lvl difference)*mob avoid/15

    :donke2: Understanding Accuracy and DEX
To increase your chances of landing hits, you need more Accuracy.
One of the easiest ways to gain early accuracy is by raising your DEX (Dexterity).

Here’s how DEX contributes to Accuracy:
    • 1 DEX = 0.8 Accuracy
(So 10 DEX gives around 8 Accuracy)
Although many veteran players aim to be “pure STR” by keeping DEX at 4 for maximum damage, this is not realistic for beginners. That route requires funded gears such as accuracy stuff and scrolls.

:sammyuwu: Recommended Base DEX for Newbie Warriors
To make your early game smoother, I recommend:
    • Start with Base DEX of 20~23 - This gives a decent starting point to help you hit early mobs like Green Mushrooms and Wild Boars.
    • If you're still missing too often, you might want to bump your base DEX to around 40~60. That said, the gear listed below should already give you enough accuracy in most cases.
    • Going beyond 60 base DEX is generally not recommended as it begins to significantly reduce your damage output.
Note: Once you're funded or have access to decent accuracy gear, you can always make a new warrior with better base stats or just reset your DEX back to STR using APRs.

⚔️ How to Boost Accuracy with Gear/Buffs
In addition to base DEX, here are some great ways to get Accuracy through equipment:

    1. Bathrobe with 10 DEX
    • Scroll a Bathrobe (Lv 20 overall) with 10 x 100% DEX scrolls.
    • You can buy the scrolls from NPC Tulcus and earn the meso required by grinding Wild Boars.
    • Gives +10 DEX = approx. +8 Accuracy.

    1. Fish Spear (Lv 20 Spear)
    • Has built-in Accuracy (+5).
    • Cheap and easy to equip early on (buy from Showa Town at 100k)

    3. Pumpkin Spear (Lv 25 Spear)
    • Has built-in Accuracy (+15).
    • Available from a Lv 30 mob - Ashigaru
    [IMG]

    4. Potions to boost Accuracy
(Not a long-term fix, but helpful for early game.)
    • Sniper Potion (+5 Accuracy) from various Potion Shops.
    • Sniper Pill (+10 Accuracy) from Potion Shops only in Ludibrium.

    5. Weapon Mastery
    (unlocked upon reaching 2nd job)
    • Useful skill for bonus accuracy
    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
    Lv 1: (Weapon) mastery 15%, accuracy +1
    Lv 20: (Weapon) mastery 60%, accuracy +20

    6. Zakum Helmet / Maple Weapons (higher-level gears)
    • These are higher-level items, but keep them in mind for the future.

Below is a gallery of screenshots showing how I trained a newbie warrior from level 10 to 30+ with no funded gear. Hopefully it helps new players know how to earn meso, and what’s worth spending on early in the game.

~cash Farming Tips: Wild Boars for Meso
Wild Boars are an excellent early training and farming spot:
    • Decent EXP
    • Drops lots of NPC-able items
    • Great source of early level meso for buying scrolls and gear
Train here at level 20s to get some basic fundings.

(would recommend grinding at Wild Boars to 30-ish)

    :warrior: Final Thoughts
Being a warrior is fun and rewarding, but starting out can be tough without enough Accuracy. With just a bit of investment in base DEX and the right gear, you’ll land your hits consistently and enjoy the grind so much more.

I hope this guide helps all the aspiring Heroes, Dark Knights, and Paladins out there!

You guys probably notice most of the screenshots are from Jan 2025 - I actually planned to work on this guide back then while I was on a bit of a break. Ended up focusing more on forum stuff first, so this kinda got pushed back until now.

Anyway, this guide is just based on my own experience training warriors. I added a bunch of screenshots along the way to show how I did things - gearing up, scrolls, all that.

If anyone has tips or sees something I missed, feel free to drop a comment. I will try to update the guide and include anything useful to help out newbie warriors who are just starting out.

Good work on this Dave! This is something I felt was very needed.

Here’s some of the things I usually do with my warriors.

Pumpkin spear drops from ashigaru in ninja castle and require level 25 to equip but it offers twice the accuracy compared to fish spear, using some 60% accuracy scrolls on one of these will be a big help until lvl 35/43 when you can equip a maple weapon.

Better accuracy potions are available in nlc and ludibrium although they are more expensive and require travel.

Events often offer equips that can boost your dex/accuracy.

Can get up to 23 base dex without having to worry about having to reset later as that is what everyone will have at level 200.

Max weapon mastery very early after reaching lvl 30 for that extra 20 accuracy.

Thank you, have included the following based on your Feedback
    • Pumpkin Spear
    • Sniper Pill
    • Will recommend base DEX of 20~23
    • Included the weapon mastery and some details of it
    Lv 1: (Weapon) mastery 15%, accuracy +1
    Lv 20: (Weapon) mastery 60%, accuracy +20

I did consider the Elixir from NLC, but it's too pricy
