I have no clue what causes it but, guild members will be 'online' (visibly 'online' from buddy list or just within the same vicinity of you) but won't necessarily show up on the guild list as being on. This means they can't see what's going on in guild chat and won't be present on the 'guild member online list' until they relog. As far as I know it's been happening to plenty of other people as of late. Hopefully that makes sense. I'll provide further detail if it's a bit confusing. Thank you! (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧
Any further details you could provide us with would be great, Christine! When these people appear to be offline in guild, are they themselves experiencing any kind of issues? Also, are they able to see other people online in the guild?
The guild members that appear to be offline (but really are online) aren't able to see any guild chat but, they are able to see other members listed as online on the 'Guild Member Online' list. So for example, the 'guild member online' list will list that nine people are on when in reality there are 11. Those two people that don't appear on that list will say they can't see any current guild chat (but they can see every other chat i.e buddy, all chat, whisper, etc) despite things being said. Until the effected player relogs, it resets(?) itself. At that point they're now seen on the 'guild member online' list and can also see the chat. I don't know why it's always a select few and not everyone as a whole -- it is always completely random (hasn't happened to me yet). Those affected have all had up-to-date files too. And, as I said before, it's just completely random, I have no clue as to what causes it. This has also happened to a few friends of mine, outside of Synergy.
