Petition to add a guild storage/vault feature to the game. Maybe add a guild-storage tab when talking to the storage NPC in towns ? It should come with a log, that shows who deposited/withdrew an item/meso from the guild vault at xx:xx:xx UTC (just an example). I think it would be a great feature to add to aid the newbies and people returning from a long break and things like that. It's more of a convenience thing I guess, cuz technically it is redundant but it's still pretty convenient. Only drawback would be maybe guild hoppers but maybe that's why we don't store anything of insane value inside ;p (EDIT: or maybe just allow master and jr's to access vault to prevent said con)

Maybe the different member (non-Jr) titles can be given functionality, where only member level 2+ can use the guild vault.

Imagine if someone, by accident, stores a 20 WA cape or something GG

If the purpose of it is to aid newbies or returning players, I feel the ability of anyone able to withdraw the items from a "guild" storage will create more issues instead

The mentioned "guild hopper" would be the biggest issue, along with accidents of deposit wrong item

Supposed if someone accidentally deposit his WA 20 cape and a guildmate took it without returning, won't that create drama?

But, wouldn’t the “drama” make the game more interesting? :D

Well, this could happen even outside of the guild tbh, like you could lend a very trusted friend your cape and he/she might never return it. Given that there should be a separate tab for guild storage, with the main tab still being your own storage, it would take quite a bit of carelessness to accidentally deposit it inside. And even so, if only jr's and master can access it I don't see why they'd take it without asking, unless they're d***s. If that happens, that's what the log is for you can screenshot the activity and tell people dude's a thief.

Cause when the item is lent to a friend/guildmate via trade, it's possible to take a screenshot of the said agreement in the trade window as a proof if want to report the incident as 'Scamming' (if the friend/guildmate does not return)

Although having the logs will show who took the item, it's not possible to report the 'event' as a Scam cause anyone can take the item out of the guild storage (just more drama on Community Blacklist)

Scamming is currently a Moderate Infraction with the first ban as 14 days, 2nd ban as permanent
Without the ability to report such an 'event' as a Scam, I feel it will encourage the guild members to take the good stuff instead since it won't be reportable (not against any T&C)

Furthermore, guild hoppers can create new characters to 'steal' stuff from the various guild(s), transfer the items to the main before deleting the character with a bad reputation

I support this functionality - only promote users who you can trust to take items out of the vault and have the competence to not accidentally leave valuable items.

    Sorry to necro this:

I feel the cons outweigh the pros here. It's great to be supportive of new players, but the amount of drama that can stir up if someone snatches up the communal items and bolts is something no one wants to deal with. I also foresee a way to easily just abuse the vault for gear sharing. Imagine 10 or so players just pitch in for only a couple strong sets of gear that they share through the vault. There would be less incentive to upgrade your own as you could just easily borrow the gear in the vault for a boss. It's possible to do this without a vault, but it would just encourage such a thing a lot more.
