Perhaps the word "dog" would be offensive and would constitute a ban but then you should ban the others who called me a dog in chinese and english as well.

So what is it with the "stupid dog boot licker"? Are you calling someone a stupid dog boot licker because they're from China? By calling someone a 'dog', you're referring to them to be lower than a human.

And mind you, it was done via smega (publicly), so there were definitely unintended audience who may have been disturbed by your message.

 

Well, the people i refer to are lower than a human, but things aside, no it would be dumb to call someone a stupid dog boot licker because they are from China. It's just coincidentally that these suckers who kept praising biabiabia for his acts and attacking me are from China. If you really find the word dog really offensive, there are about half a dozen people who you can ban. And I believe that the one reporting are just reporting just so that I would get ban as it is very easy to get someone ban in this server and not because they are offended.

Disturbed by my message? if you were online at that time you would understand that it was a conversation and not directed at every chinese players. There are tons of people calling me out (publicly) surely they are more disturbing than me. Please, don't make this seems like a big issue since this is a PG13 game, people can take a line of message. If you are really concern about unintended audience, you could at least make smega more expensive which I would gladly support.

If it's a conversation, then do it privately, no need to do it via smega, especially when you know we are stringent when it comes to such cases when words aren't used appropriately. How sure are you that the rest of the players who are not involved in whatever "conversation" you were having weren't affected by what you said? Or maybe they were affected, but don't know how to access the forum and/or know how to make a report? If you can provide a solid evidence that none of the players, including non-chinese are affected by your comments, then I'll gladly rest this case and lift your ban.

PG13, yes. You can use the F word, yes, although not encouraged. But there's a limit as to HOW you use the word. Using the word 'dog' by itself don't mean much, but in your context, it's just purely offensive and to some, racist. Honestly speaking, if making something more expensive is the only way to reduce the chance of someone violating such rules, then I don't know how we as a society is going to progress.

Looking at how a few have responded negatively to your statement, and after discussing with the team, your appeal has been denied.

 

lol tell that to them, they were talking shit towards me, calling me a dog, questioning me my childhood, asking me to ask my dad what am I via smega. How about you tell them to do it privately. I would have created a report thread to get them banned but fortunately I am not as petty as them who can't take mere facts hence not having screenshots. If you think I am lying you can check the chat logs but I think “ this is not worth your precious time" which I understand.

Regardless of the usage of the word dog being offensive or not, I personally don't find it offensive but since this is mapleroyals, fine, its not a surprise.
But how do you expect me to prove that none of the players are affected by my comments? asking maplers one by one? do you think I am god? nevermind.

Not really, we lock threads because we find whatever is posted is not constructive and that it's not worth continuing on the discussion. Just like the one we are having right now. We don't need to act all professional, because we are supposed to when we took on the role. It's also funny you are attacking the staffs now that your appeal has been rejected. I supposed that's how it's like for some people, right? But to quote what you said - it's ok idrc - because I did what was right in the eyes of many.
