There are many reasons as to why Royals won't work. Most of it is compatibility errors, or simply forgetting to re-install patch files. I have a few simple lists of problems that happened in the past, as well as included thread links down below to help from previous posts!

READ THIS BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY OF THESE SOLUTIONS:
    Redownload the game client.
    I’m dead serious.
Almost 80% of these error codes are due to having outdated game files.

Either delete the entire MapleRoyals folder, or copy and paste the new files into your Mapleroyals folder before attempting any of these solutions listed below.
    Trust me,
    You’ll be surprised.

    Disconnected From Login Server:

If you keep getting the "You have been disconnected from the login server please try again" message,
that means you need to update your files by clicking here!
(Come to think of it, if you haven't updated your game files, and you experience problems,
always check the download section for new patches.
9/10 times this usually fixes everything.)

    Downloading the Patch:

As of right now for the Anniversary 2019 patch, Google Drive's download has a limited use on it.
Use the other two links instead.

(I used Mega and it worked perfectly fine!)

Solution to Every Windows 7 / XP Error:
If you are using Windows 7 or XP and the game isn't opening at all:
delete the dinput8.dll file in the Mapleroyals folder.

(It was made specifically to counter a common error for windows 8 & 10 players,
this file just doesn't like older Windows users for some reason.)

    Crashing on 1 Account:
If you can't make it past the loading screen and keep dcing in game, you are stuck.
GMs / Admins can't fix your character on their end.
    You will have to wait.

    Symptoms of being stuck:

    Constantly dcing,
game crashing at character selection screen,
being unable to log into 1 account while your other(s) are fine.
(Sometimes this happens when you're banned too.
So make sure you double check the message you get when you try to log in.
Or else you've just accidentally ban evaded, and that will look bad during your Ban Appeal.
    Oops.)

    So in other words,
you'll have to wait until the next server check to play on that account. (Server checks are usually 1-2 weeks.)
But you're free to make another / play on a non-stuck account while you wait.

    Tips to prevent getting stuck:
Don't cancel a loading channel selection screen.
100% of the time you will get stuck, just wait it out.
If you dc during it, then you most likely will be stuck until the next server reset.
DCing in Cash Shop sometimes causes a character to get stuck.
If you are IP banned (Mac) or banned in general,
DO NOT make a new account, and make a Ban Appeal instead.

Various Error Codes / Crashing (Not Stuck):
    "MapleRoyals has stopped working."
Or any error code (not really familiar with error codes anymore..)
This one has various solutions unfortunately..
Some of them might not work.
Check your compatibility. (Windows 7 works best for me since I'm using Windows 10.)
Check your resolution. (640 x 480, works almost all of the time.)
Make sure your drivers are up to date.
    Run MapleRoyals on administrator.

Change your monitor refresh rate from 59hz to 60hz.

    Royals Keeps Deleting Itself:
If your MapleRoyals.exe file keeps deleting itself:
Whitelist the folder on your anti-virus, or add it to exclusions in Windows Defender.

    PIC / Account Recovery Problems:
If you are having character PIC problems then you will need to pm an Admin.
If you forgot anything account related, PM an Admin.
You will need to provide account details such as:

    Date of birth:
    Email:
    Character names:
    Account username:

Tips on pming Admins for account recovery:
Please add in the account details that you do remember in the first message you send to them.
It'll avoid the whole "can you give me your account details" message they will send if you fail to do so.. ~f17
It will also waste your time, and theirs if you don't pm them the information upfront,
and you will be delaying your account recovery process if you don't.
