Hello Royals, the long time rival of extalia till they got closed down. I'm Janet and I'm almost 21 years old! I'm wondering before I join if there are people on here that are 18+. Extalia had a lot of 18+ people and that was nice, no offense towards those who are younger, I'll chat with you I just dont want to be the only older person back on maplestory ;-; I live in the United States and I recently got into Animal Crossing New Leaf (Ill add anyone on that game ^^) Uh, I also play steam, Dragon nest, and I have a 40+ hour job this summer so I'll be on when I get off or when I feel like it. Uh, give me some details about this server cause this place blew up after extalia got closed down.
Hi Janet!! Welcome to Royals! I'm pretty sure there are lots of 18+ people in this server. At least, myself and most of the people that I met here are 18+. This server is 3 years old, so there are plenty of guides around to help you get started. Here's the link for them https://royals.ms/forum/forums/guides.57/ This server is v62 and not pay2win, which means it will be pretty different from the current GMS or Extalia. I didn't play any maplestory post-BB version so I can't tell you what the differences are. Feel free to browse the forums or ask in the shoutbox for anything you don't understand. Also make sure you read the T&Cs to familiarise yourself with the rules here as some might be a bit unconventional to you. Thank you a lot for welcoming me, I'm thinking about downloading this when I get on a more stable internet connection; I'm hoping I can bring a few friends over from Dragon nest over to this private server due to the fact that I cannot for the life of me find it fun and they are so higher level then me. ;-; Anywho, I do have a few questions: How is the mesos in this? In other p-servers, 5k is NOTHING, when items are selling for like 6.8B. I'm a major Dual blader and or Aran player and there items were expersive in other servers. Do have any information on those items? Dex, luk ext. Which is the most expensive? I'll look at the rules and read though them, thanks for the helpful information!
Well, it's 4x meso. erm, I can tell you 5k is not much at all. There are items that sell for 10+b but those are usually end game weapons or really good int gears. However, with the NX given from voting, you'll be able to make some mesos just by gaching if you're lucky or selling AP resets. As far as I know, for stats items, the most expensive things are the int gears since a lot of players hp wash. Dex equips do cost quite a bit too since dex is needed for end game weapon for a few jobs. But if you're unfunded, there are plenty of ways to go about it. You can either add base stats, and then wash it out later or you can make a bishop first, earn some mesos, then make a character you like. Many people make bishop first because you can grind/farm for scrolls/ sell leech and all that to earn mesos, and then fund your next attacker character. However, don't feel obliged to do so. it's not the only way to play the game. I'll say just do what you want as long as you enjoy it.
Welcome to Royals , Janet! Yup there's definitely lots of people over 18 here. I'm pretty sure like 99% of my friends are older than me x.x . v62 is a lot simpler than the later versions so you will probably learn very quickly! There's a wonderful community here , majority of people I've met being extremely nice!
