Window is searching for MapleRoyals.exe ... I've install the file twice and this still appear, so what should I do? Do i need to download the file from webpage again? Thank you very much!
Do you have an antivirus? Some antiviruses like Avast for example delete MapleRoyals.exe, because they think it's a suspicious program. You could either: 1. Make the antivirus ignore the file in future events. or 2. Disable the Antivirus when playing MapleRoyals.
This error only occurs in the following situations (According to the Troubleshooting Guide) 1. If there's a server check 2. If you do not have access to the internet 3. Another possibility is that Firewall options are not allowing MapleRoyals.exe to access the internet, if so then allow access in the Firewall options for Private & Public access.
Did you solve the problem by doing what he said or something else I tried letting down all my antivirus and fire wall stuff and it still keeps showing up that way Is there anything that can be done after this because I have disabled my firewall while downloading and trying to load it in and I keep getting that text message as well as one that says I need to reset my computer or redownload the client
The only reason why the MapleRoyals.exe file would be deleted/removed is because that the Antivirus is deleting it as a security method. When you extract/Install maplestory the antivirus either deletes it upon activation, or upon extraction. As I said, you should probably either disable it or make the antivirus ignore the File. If you wish I can help you do that. Which Antivirus do you have on your computer? (Example: Avast, Avira, Nod32, Norton, Etc...) Unless you are referring to Chrome automatic deletion, which in that case is something a bit different. (When it finishes downloading but chrome immediately deletes without asking)
I am currently using webroot security, but this is also the third different occasion in which I have tried to download this game and each time on a different device it leads me to believe that I may just be downloading the client wrong in general.
