I can't seem to extract the zip file when i bring the zip file to program 86 winrar's diagnostic states that there are errors when extracting Windows 7 and 8- tried it on both my comps Any Helps appreciated
1. Check the size of the file. The Maplestory Setup download zip archive should be 2.2GB Perhaps it was not properly downloaded and you don't have the entire file. 2. When you are sure it is 2.2GB, disable any antivirus/malware protection temporarily while attempting to extract. (Perhaps they are falsely detecting one of the files as malicious and not allowing you to extract. Or it could be attempting to delete MapleRoyals.exe within the archive before you extract and it could end up damaging the entire archive.) 3. If it is not antivirus/malware, reinstall a new version of winrar from here and try again: Winrar32bit 4. If all the above fails, and you do have antivirus/malware, please disable them while you do the entire download. Also disable any antivirus/malware protection in your browser. (If you use chrome you must do this in your settings!!) 5. If you get to here, and your download isn't the right size, maybe your ISP or some other gateway limits your maximum download size.
unfortunately i still get 39 errors such as "unable to create program86/mapleroyals/npc.wz" even after downloading the new winrar 32bit Ughh I really want to playyyy
I know the problem now. You're using windows 7 and windows 8. the start of the shitty operating system chain. Anyways. Create a MapleRoyals folder in the root of your drive. so if it's C: you make it right at C:\ move and extract the archive into there. (The problem you may be having is that windows is not letting you create files in the program files directory due to insufficient administrative rights or improperly setup cacls.)
