Hi , I'm A Level 109 Dk With 60 Ap Points Not Added . I'm Gonna Do A Gacha Run Soon , So Do I Focus On Hp Washing Or Upgrading My Equipment ? Thanks In Advance !
I don't really have an answer for you, but two things to consider. HP Washing is something that sort of has a time constraint. Given that you are a DK, its not as severe, but if you don't wash by the time you hit a high level, it becomes more and more difficult to do so. You can upgrade your gear at any time. That said! Better gear means more efficient kills, more exp, and faster levels. I suppose the key would be to find an equilibrium?
Since HP washing relies on reducing your base MP, you are limited by the amount of extra MP you have over base. That number is then limited by the amount of INT that you level up with over the course of your character's progression. If you level with 4 base int from 1-106, you have lost out on the ability to get extra base MP over the course of those levels, hence why most players who are HP washing will start adding AP into INT from a very low level; 10-120 with 100 INT gives you 1100 MP, 106-120 with 100 INT gives you 140. There is theoretically always an ability to HP wash until you achieve level 200; at level 199, you could simply purchase 2000 AP Resets, reset all your base stat into INT, level up to 200, then reset it all back to your stat to reap +100 MP, but that's not very efficient, is it. "Time constrained" more refers to how much easier it is the earlier you start. Warriors require very low amounts of MP (4) to reset per AP reset and get a high return (50) per reset, so they are not as constrained as other classes such as thieves/bowmen (-12 MP, +16 HP/+20 HP depending on how you do it). To the OP: you should focus on your HP washing first, as it will become more difficult for you to accomplish this as you level up. Dark Knights that have not HP washed have less HP to work with when using Berserk, and therefore require more skill to play/making it more difficult on the player, which is why my suggestion is what it is. Equips can always be made for the same price, but HP washing becomes very costly/difficult at high levels. For references' sake, it will only take about 150 AP resets to achieve the amount of HP you will require to make 30,000 HP with Hyper Body around level 180. The rough comparison is 1 more reset for every 1 level you want it earlier than that. That means you'll want about 600 extra MP; you can decide for yourself how best to get that much (totalINT/10 = MP gain per level, rounded down).
You should be using int gear and maybe a small base int if you really feel like hp washing. You don't have to hp wash right away but getting the MP is important for the future.
Depends on your HP goal, and how much effort you would like to put in. I believe you can HP wash 5 times per level if you have 200 int total from gear and base int. You can use the HP washing guide to check how much MP you need and remember you can't really HP wash without leveling so don't wait too long before starting.
As a warrior, you need 4mp to wash once, and as every 10int gives an extra mp point per level, you would need 200 total int to wash 5times per level - not 20.
If your goal is to be able to use Berserk while fighting Horntail, then you only need to have 10 INT by level 139. It's going to be a total of about 110 washes, which you can do all at once, if you wish. You don't need to do a certain number per level. The reason why you only need 50 INT per level, is because you will have significant amount of extra MaxMP just from leveling naturally, and from job advancements. You gain, on average, 1 extra washable MaxMP per level, and 125 extra with each job advancement. Here is the formula for average natural washable MaxMP by target level: [(125 x (#JobAdv-2)) + Level + 19] #JobAdv-2 = the number of job advancements you will have done by your target level, minus 2. In your case, it would be 4 job advancements, minus 2, which equals 2. 2 x 125 = 250 + 155 = 405 + 19 = 424, which is about It must be known at this point of my reply, that I have found a fault in my original calculations. I have no idea how I arrived at the result that you would need 50 INT by lvl 118. You will need about 440 extra MaxMP to use those 110 AP Resets that will give you about 5775 extra HP, which will land you at the 15625 mark (which with hyper body is 25k). Since, you will have accumulated, on average, 424 extra MaxMP by level 155, you will simply need another 16 extra MaxMP by level 155, which 4 levels of your 50 INT will cover, or 16 levels with 10 INT. In other words, you are more than covered. And since this is all based upon averages, it is all well and done that you will have extra MaxMP to throw around, if you so wish. It is very unfortunate that I had miscalculated this before, and I will go straight away to fix the table in my guide on Spearmen. In conclusion, without even adding ANY INT, you will be close to hitting your mark of 15625 HP by level 155. 10 INT will ensure your chance to hit it, even if you get the shittiest luck in your natural HP and MP gains.
