So I had a Night Lord and 36 cleric before quitting years ago, so I never really experienced the class. Dunno what 2nd job option to take now - I asked a bunch of ppl ingame today and the majority said I/L. Any suggestions? you need a bishop for better farming/leeching. If you still have access to your level36 cleric in MapleRoyals, I suggest you continue playing it up to bishop, else choose to be a cleric for this character
Everyone and their great-grandmother is a bishop these days. My opinion is that the most important thing to consider is how much fun you think you'll have with the class of your choice. People are used to measuring time with hours, minutes, and the like, but there's more to it than that. You could level up in, say, 2 hours as a fire mage, or in 1 hour as a priest, but if playing a priest makes you feel like your soul is being torn to shreds, it could feel like a lot longer, and it wouldn't be a pleasant experience. If you want to set a record for "most grinding done per hour", I suggest you ask for a job at McDonald's. It might be a similarly soul-wrenching experience, but you might earn some money, and they might promote you if you are as fanatical about flipping burgers as leechers are about breaking leveling speed records I'm not saying that you shouldn't be a priest - I'm saying that you should play something you believe you'll enjoy, even if it's a priest
