Does WKs have lower range? Cause at lvl 85 with a 15 att scg and a 15 atk maple shield aswell as my one hand sword and useing a 12 att pot from nlc I only have 1300 to 2400 and another person who is lvl 75 dk has the Same range without the atk equips that I have, other warriors seem to have more range then me so is my equips not registering properly or does WKs have low range
I think it most likely has to do with the damage formula of the 1h-sword compared with that of other warrior weapons, particularly 2-handed ones. However, you shouldn't judge everything purely on your range - DPS is a large factor in the choice of 1h-sword + atk shield, particularly if you're using a fast 4 weapon such as a Red Katana.
I had a 2 hand it only bumped up my damage range to 2500 I agree on not basing it on range but my range with any weapon is lower than dk or crusaders just wondering if that's the way it is for wk
I can understand why your range would be lower than that of a DK, because (apart from them having different damage formulas to swords) Polearms and Spears typically have a higher clean weapon attack than a sword of the same level. What I don't quite understand is why your range would be lower than that of a (sword-using) Crusader - unless they're counting Rage in as part of their range.
The dmg formula for 1h is Max: (str*4+dex)(WATT/100) Spear Max: (str*5+dex)(WATT/100) for stabbing its str*3 for swinging but that doesn't really show up on the stat window 2H sword Max: (str*4.4+dex)(WATT.100) Your class doesn't matter the dmg is not by class, its by stat and weapon. So they probably have more str than you on gear and out preform your WATT or something. Coz here the thing WATT add more dmg the more str you have, 1 WATT is 0.01 of str*4. If you have 200 str that 1 WATT is 1 dmg, while 600 str thats 3 dmg. While str will always add 2dmg+ per depending your weapon att. Dk with a 70 spear 87 att and say 350 str, thats 1522.5. and wk with 70 1h with 82 att +15+15+12= 124 watt and 300 str that put the wk at 1488. See way more weapon attack but because spear scales harder on str and at lower amount of str they scale harder but lets say your at like 600/550 str each DK=2610 WK=2728 I mean its all example but you see what I mean here.
So my str is at 430 give or take a few but I figured most warriors around my level would have same lil more or less so dunno why my range is lower or It could be my str is just alot lower than others
Like I said DK get a bigger multiplier than you with spear that might be the issue. If you can give me like the stats like str/dex and total weapon att of both you and the dk you were comparing to I can try to figure out what might be going on.
