Hi i've recently made a new character (theif) and when I went to get my 1st job advancement, the client crashed and again when I went to Dark Lord for my theif quests. It seemed like I was crashing whenever I went into the Jazz Bar in Kerning. After crashing it pops up saying: error code: -214767261 (Invalid pointer) Also, I noticed that I was throwing 1 Star instead of 2 for the lucky seven skill. Not sure if it's because i'm using orange stars, i haven't tried with other stars atm.
Orange stars? Do you mean the ones that look like small oranges, or do you mean orange-coloured regular stars? The reason you dc-ed in the Jazz bar is unlikely to be to do with what stars you throw - it's a random bug that tends to happen sometimes in the first job advancement places, and seems to be related to there being a quest (new or completed) there for you.
