Current stats: Class: Hunter Lv: 48 HP: 1493 MP: 2347 Total INT: 140 (100 base) My goal is to reach 9k+ HP by the time I reach lvl155. According to this topic I need ~5318 total MP. Currently I am just MP washing (fresh AP in MP and AP scroll it back out and into DEX) whenever I level up. Is this the best way to be doing this? Or can I do it for cheaper? I've read something about keeping fresh AP and putting it in HP? And what about STR for the later levels (currently 4 STR). Many thanks!
For a BM, the way you're doing it right now is best. The fresh AP method only really pertains to Thieves. For your STR, you can always just reset your base INT that you have right now into str instead of dex or reset the MP washing AP you use into STR until you have the desired amount. I suggest doing it later on (and possibly after buying some equips so you know exactly how much str you will need).
For NL to have 9k HP at level 155, you will need a total INT of 190 at level 50. For BM to have 9k HP at level 155, you will need to have Total INT of 250 at level 50. I would suggest you to add into INT again when you level up and also add some INT equips as well.
Ok, I just leveled up from lv52 --> lv53. These were my values at level 52: HP: 2050 MP: 2580 Now I'm at: HP: 2070 MP: 2611 So I gained 31 mp with 150 total int (100 base). Not sure where this came from, but alright. After MP washing my levelup AP I got to: 2611 > 2625 > 2638 > 2650 > 2664 > 2676 MP. Which means I gain ~13mp per MP wash. 13 MP x 5 = 65 + 31 = 96 MP. I gained 96 MP for one level in total.
Your current min MP is 14*53+148 = 890. Your MP now is 2611. 2611-890=1,721. You have 1,721 extra MP now. Consider if you wash all your MP to HP now, 1,721/12= 143. You can wash 143 times. 143*18 = 2,574. 2,574+2,070(current HP)= 4,644HP. So, if you wash all your MP to HP now, you will have 4,644HP and 0 extra MP. From level 53 to 155, 155-53=102. 102*18=1,836 1,836+4,644= 6,480. Consider if you clear all your INT at level 135, 135-53=82. 82*14(you have 140 total INT)= 1,148 extra MP. 1,148/12=96 96*18=1,728. 1,728+6480= 8,200. So, now you have 8,200HP at level 155. You need 800HP more. 800/18=44 44*12= 528. You need to have extra 528MP. If you have gained 65MP from MP washing per level, 528/65=8. You still need to do 8 levels of MP washing. TLDR, Do additional 8 levels of MP washing, keep leveling with 140total int, clear all your INT at lvl 135, wash all your extra MP anytime along the way, you will have 9k sharp at lvl 155. Edit: I did not consider the HP MP gain when you do job advancement.
Thanks for the in-depth calcs. I was able to follow all of it. This all is of course considering the average of 18 hp per wash, however this is no problem since I have 150 total INT, not 140 (so a little bit more extraMP for me ). I'll keep MP washing till I get to level 65 just to be sure and then follow your calcs by resetting INT at level 135 and HP washing my extra MP at lv155. Btw, is there any reason why you took lv135 as my INT clear level? Also, you can explain how I got 31 MP for a normal levelup with only 150 INT? Thank you sooo much, much clearer now.
The reason for lvl135 to clear your INT is because you will be killing bosses like Krex and Zak at lvl135( unless you want to have shitty dmg during bossing). Not sure about your second question. Yeh, I think I deserve an applause too haha! You are welcome!
I figured the answer for your second question. Since the formula for min MP is 14*level +148, so you will get at least 14MP when you level. You get 16MP naturally +15 from your INT gears. So 31MP
