    Hey, beautiful. How are you?
My name's William. I'm a big fan of forums. Especially for when the server goes down, but in general. The whole community concept - I just get giddy about it. I like talking to people. (but don't take that the wrong way, I hate people. I just like talking to them.)

So what's something I don't know about you?

I'm teaching my nephew how to 'breakdance' (I say in quotes because I don't like referring to it as such) so that's interesting, and I bet you didn't know it.

    Your turn!

    My goodness a lifeform!
Jesus, what are you, Canadian or something?
Growing up around where I'm from hanging out with most of my school friends was impossible for that damned sports very nature. Every was always at hockey practice or training to be better at hockey or playing street hockey or ball hockey or some other godforesaken form of hockey.
Don't get me wrong, I watch the playoffs and TML deserves the cup. But I'm not a big sports person. But I'll never admit that.
It's a shame there's such a low amount of people actively participating in the forums.
Hmm. What is another interesting thing.
Ooh! I'm currently teaching my 12 year old nephew about computer engineering! I have an Arduino, which is a microprocessor, and he's thus far made an LED blink, and that very same LED fluctuate in brightness. I've taught him about logic gates (AND, OR, NOT, XOR, etc) and next up I'm going to teach him how to use a button to control his LED!
    So that's nifty.

You guys are SO Canadian. I had the same problem though, all my friends were all "LET'S GO PLAY HOCKEY!" and I was all "but... video games". I'm in the same boat as you Will, I don't really like hockey, but I always watch the playoffs, and if the leafs won I would probably freak out a little bit! I have 5 younger siblings, 4 of which don't even really play video games! Blasphemy, I know. But my 12 year old little brother is ALWAYS playing them! I've tried to get him to try making them on simple programs such as GameMaker or Stencyl, but he just doesn't like it D: What a butt head.

Funny story, that same brother wanted to learn how to breakdance, and the only studio that does it near us was really expensive and my brother has a short attention span, so my mom told him that if he did a semester (9 weeks I think...) of Ballet to show that he was really interested in it and serious about doing it she would sign him up for Breakdancing, and he finished the course and loved Ballet and did that for 2 years instead. He was never good at it, but boy did he try!

Aaah Canadians :) some of us are the best of people in this world!
I was always passing up hockey for Zelda back in the day. Video games, my one true calling! Haha
Some kids just don't want to make video games - which bothers me.
    But, let competition, right?
So that brother of yours is definitely a champ, omg! I don't know if my ego could survive a day of ballet when I was 12, though now I have all the respect for them and wish I could accomplish a tenth of what they do.
I actually just got in from today's breaking lesson with my nephew. We practiced strength-related moves today. He's getting pretty close to headstands, and shoulder stands are coming along nicely! The kid's got a real strong babyfreeze, I tell you. :p

My interesting fact for this post would be that I work in a cafe in my hometown that makes and sells homemade chocolate and fudge as well. Needless to say, I make a pretty astounding latte after two years behind the steamer!
