Greetings, Royalists! So I’m planning on returning to this server on a new character. However, my plan might be a bit odd: I’m planning on making an Assassin that will be able to deal enough damage to train by itself, while simultaneously having enough base INT (and INT equips) to MP and HP wash quite a bit (would love to have enough HP to tank Pink Bean’s attacks with HB if he gets added to the game). I’ve come up with a little plan, and I’m hoping someone who knows a thing or two about Assassin damage and MP/HP washing could comment on it if it’ll work and/or how I can improve my plan. My plan is as follows: AP distribution: 25 base DEX to become a Thief Add INT until 50 base INT from level 10-19 Add LUK from level 20-29 Add INT until 100 base INT from level 30-39 (HP wash as much as possible due to being 2nd job by now?) Add LUK from level 40-49 (HP wash as much as possible?) Add INT until 150 base INT from level 50-59 (HP wash as much as possible?) Add LUK from level 60-69 (HP wash as much as possible?) Add INT until 200 base INT from level 70-79 (HP wash as much as possible?) MP wash from level 80-119 by putting fresh AP into MP, and then using an AP reset to take a point out of MP and put it back into LUK (this is how I should do it, right?) HP wash from level 120-200 by putting fresh AP into HP, and then using an AP reset to take a point out of MP and put it back into LUK(/DEX when I switch to low-DEX) (and this is how HP washing works, right?) Reset all base INT to LUK at level 200 (alternatively, I may choose to just reset all of my excess MP into HP and INT into LUK around level 160) In addition to this, I plan to buy about +100 INT worth of equips to aid in my HP washing (making it 300 INT total), and buying some decent gear to hopefully get me enough damage to train by myself. Would this work? I understand that my damage will be quite a bit lower compared to normal Sins/Hermits/NLs my level until I reset my base INT, but would I still be able to decently train by myself? I love training Assassins so I don’t want to spoil that fun by leeching all the way, but on the other hand I want to have a good amount of HP later on to potentially be able to tank Pink Bean’s hits. I know it would be, but I really want to actually train the Assassin because I love training them so much and I feel like I'd lose out on a lot of fun by simply leeching it. Thanks for the advice though, that calculator seems like it could come in handy.
Add al ap to int until lvl 6. Then add 4 int 1 dex and add 5 dex per lvl until 10. This way you will get 25 dex at lvl 10 and you'll already have some extra base int on the low levels Also think about how you will lvl the last 0.01% since i assume you will be wearing a wand + shield so you'll need another account to finish all of your lvl ups
If you can get a hold on some good luk equipment such as a 25+ luk overall, 10+ luk cape and earrings and maybe a 60+ att Maple weapon I think you'll be fine. I don't even think it'll be too bad to grind with. But definitely go dexless with luk equip as you will be missing out on those 196 AP. Good luck bud.
Oh right, that's a few more MP for basically free, thanks! Hope I'll still have enough damage from level 10-15 though as I'll be LUKless during those levels then haha.
