I currently play on a desktop with a Nvidia GTX970 graphics card. I understand that I need to either (1) disable my graphics card and use onboard motherboard graphics, (2) use VMWare to horntail, (3) I can play on my macbook pro with parallels. Trying OPTION 2 I tried to play on VMWare and it got me to the body and I still d/c even when I GFX before each head or part spawns. I have 3d acceleration enabled, i have windows 98/me compatibility enabled, and i followed all the settings in Tim's thread. I still d/c and even when I'm still in the HT, im lagging like mad. I can barely move and I would probably die due to lag instead of the d/c. I tried raising my ram and memory and it still has the same problems. I was hoping someone has a suggestion. Because this lag was unbearable, I've recently tried to disable my graphics card (OPTION 1). I went to my bios and i disabled my gtx 970 and replugged my monitor into the onboard graphics card. When i check my driver details, it says im currently using Intel HD 600 or something like that. I was wondering if I use this graphics card and i GFX before each head spawns, will I make it through the entire run? It is hard for me to test it because if I d/c i would ruin someones run. People have told me to try it at Zak and other bosses but I don't tend to d/c even with my GTX 970 enabled when zaking and HT is the only place i have this problem. If this option doesnt work I was thinking of using parrallel on Mac The option of HTing on my macbook through parallels is the last resort. I would much rather Horntail on my monitor with a full keyboard but I was wondering if anyone can reccommend it to me. Would Parallel lag just as much as VMware? Also, I saw that it has only a 14 day trial and I was wondering if people who use it, do they have a free version they use? Maybe you can share a link with me. Well those are my three options and I'm kinda stuck. I was hoping anyone reading this has more knowledge than me and could help me ! Thank youuu
