guess i am giving in to leveling a mage first to sell leech sooner then later. im kind of tired of making priests in MS though i mean they have good utility like HS, door, etc.. just kind of tired of only playing that spec of the mage tree. How are AMs like I/L and F/P for purely money making? obviously i dont expect to boss but strictly just making money to fund for washing in the future. i don't mind not having HS and all that i assume cost wise for selling leech will be lower.
As my experience with my 144 bish and 142 arch mage. I would createa mage for sell leech cause gen for bish is too high! My bish 144 but only have gen 20. It's my first char cause when I was new in this game, some person tell me that I should create bish for making money (both sell leech and boss). But actually, for sell good paid leech at skele or even ulu2 u need to get gen 30 which is expensive and u may fail so many time! (I never knew that I can fail a skill book when I still a noob). Without it only can sell lowlvl leech. And bish cant get much from bossing . They mostly R> bish for zakum only can get 15-16m/run/20min. Bish for HT need experiences or requires something more and maybe only people in Alliance/Guildie go 2gether so it's not easy for bish to join any HT run. (Idk if for other is easier but for me is not at all) So compare to selling leech only, arch mage is better choice - cheap skill book - can sell up to petri which can be 140m-150m/h compare to skele for bish only 110m/h But u need to create a Hs mule to sell leech as arch mage, but it's not a big deal for me Just my little experience with mage...
As for F/P vs I/L Their Ult30 have the same damage (correct me if I'm wrong) Both can farm heartstoppers fine I/L are more versatile. F/P have a slow 2nd job and a fast 3rd job They can cast poison mist with speed boosting equips such as red whip to make 3rd job grinding easier Elemental Wand 5 is cheaper and more common Skillbooks are cheaper (afaik) Damage penalty underwater Their summon is less useful (elderwraiths are ice immune) I/L have a faster 2nd job and a slow 3rd job Elemental Wand 3 is recommended for 3rd job grinding and can be troublesome to find (Sleepywood gach) Elemental Wand 7 is rare and expensive (CBD gach) Skillbooks are slightly more expensive Ifrit 30 is a GPQ only skillbook Their ultimate freezes monsters it does not 1hit kill which can be useful Mobs in Road to Oblivion are ice weak but you can't sell leech there really.
Hs mule take not much time to make, and sell leech with hs mule also easy, just duo client, alt + tab to hs then alt + tab to back to main If not u can make bishop and sell low lv leech and wait till collect enough mesos for the gen... And u should not be over lv 130. If over lvl 130 no one seem want to buy your low lvl leech. My first char bishop I didnt know that till I over lvl, seem useless now, cannot sell low leech, ulu, skele, just can sell harp with lvl 144
