How do I get permission for colorpicker?

    I do not have the option to press the color picker in the shoutbox & when I go into this link it says I dont have permission to view it. How am I suppose to get permission?

    It's only available to staff.

    Then why have so many people been able to change their text color for so long? I just lost permissions for it after having it myself for a few weeks, does that mean everyone will lose access to it? Also, before we switched to Xenforo, everyone could change their chat color, why is it different now?

    I'm pretty sure colour BB code still works on it, it's just a hassle.

    Beta testers had access to it and it was changed back since it had no purpose.

    It was for readability, a lot of people used text with light colors, that you can't read.

    BB codes still works, too much of a hassle for most people.
