for the 4th job thief skill taunt:
Does it work on cast? Like as soon as I cast it, everyone monster hit is under the effect?
or do I have to wait for the monster to get angry before I can finally kill it? If this is the case, then taunt doesn't work on monster that you 1 shot with it?

Works on non-boss monsters, they get the angry animation if its applied, then can be killed for the increased exp/drops. The effect isn't applied if taunt 1 shots the mob

one thing i want to mention is the skill description implies that it has to get angry first before you get any bonuses. However, if you macro taunt + bstep, bstep kills the mobs before the animation goes off but you STILL get the bonus exp. I'm inclined to think you also have the bonus drop rate applied EVEN if the mob didn't go through the animation. This suggests that taunt is an on-hit ability that triggers as soon as you cast it.

That's probably the case, there are other mechanics in game where the animation is delayed so that doesn't surprise me (think effect of being cursed with seal for example). Even though some of these were fixed in the previous patch, it probably still lingers for a few select skills/effects.

As long as you're getting the bonus EXP applied, I'd imagine you're also getting the droprate increase as well

i'm hoping the droprate actually works because it sure feels like it doesn't :(
