I want to know before I invest on my i/l archmage how desirable they are for the boss runs? I know they are not really preferred but are they so undesirable that they are not taken on boss runs at all? Or if there are places open and no one shows up they are taken with for boss runs?
Even if there is spot open no1 would take an arch mage anyways if u want to make a mage that can boss bishop is the only way to go
Most players are friendly, and as long as you're trying they don't care about the actual amount of damage a player does.
Although RaccoonSquad HT is on hiatus right now, @Michael takes all jobs for 12 man+ Horntail point runs, so look on the forums for that if you're ever interested! Aside from that, the sad truth is that A/Ms usually aren't taken on many boss runs. The server itself just has too much of an emphasis on optimal DPS, but don't let that stop you from trying to join runs! There are some super friendly people that take A/Ms.
I don't really boss on my Arch Mage but that's purely by choice. I'm sure if I asked around to join a boss run on my F/P, most people would say yes...right guys??
AM are generally more likely to be accepted on zak, but not so much horntail. One of the contributing factors is that zak tends to weapon cancel and we can no longer get rid of the weapon cancel, making mages a bit more effective than before. I went on a zak run just last night that had an i/l ^^ Horntail, not so much. If you want to horntail on your AM, I would suggest signing up for runs on the forums as it may be hard to find a party in game.
Thank you guys for all the supportive comments<3 you guys really made me believe in my AM I will continue to play him because I like his game play not because I want to be just in boss runs! Thank you!!
