Is there a maximum limit to how many players can be in a specific channel? Its kinda nice to see the bars full and all; but just worried about the server capacity and how it increases the probability of lag due to high utilization of servers. Theres been increase in lag these days, is it because of server overload? I just started mapleroyals, few weeks ago.. and its really fun, nice community! Are there any plans of buying more server space if thats helps in fixing server lag?
There is not a limit to the number of players that can be on a single channel. But we currently have a limit of 2,000 players that can log into the game at once. Channels don't matter, all channels are on the same server. The lag seem to be an issue with our hosts anti-DDoS service provider.
