How to make any game or server for Mac

    Hey, I am confused on how to make any other private server work or Rift Online on my Mac. If somebody can please help em I'd be more than happy. Also just trying to make stuff work to keep me busy until i'm unbanned on June 6th XD

    I have no clue what Rift Online is. It really depends on what language it is written in. If it is done in any variant of C on a Mac, you may need additional software. For example: Mono if you are doing C#. If you are doing something like Java, it doesn't matter since it is cross-platform (aka works on various platforms).

    Typically, online games that were not designed to be compatible with mac based OS's either require the server dev's to make a mac version of the client. Or you can emulate Windows 7 by using bootcamp.
