    Hi all,

I’m a new player trying to level an alt. My current main is a 97 ranger - how exactly does EXP leeching work? My alt is lvl 17 and I’d like to get it to 50. Which mobs can I train so that the alt gets experience? I want to train on master chronos but I’m not sure what level my alt has to be. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

    Leeching guide (for monster levels)

Normally a leecher is a Bishop or Mage, 4th job, with their entire-screen spells. Their goal is to 1-hit mobs.

That being said, your low level can still get exp from your Ranger, just at a much slower rate. The lower character must be within 5 levels of the mobs (see link).

Edit: looks like your alt needs to be at least lv41 to leech at master chronos
