so I was reading the hp reset on thread there’s some point I’m not fully understanding..
    as a thief

    1) upon lvl up adding base AP to int will it will increase my max mp ( 10 int = 1MP ) but can that mp be washed as well or only the MP gained from int gears can be washed?

    2) I’ve seen a lot of calculations and suggested 140 base int and the rest is from int gears but is it okay to put more base int ?

    3) resetting.. so all the base int to hp then take out mp to Luk until MP reached the minimum? So end game base mp and is quite low afterwards am I correct? Or there’s a way around it ?

INT will work the same way no matter if it came from AP or equips. What matters is your total INT (87 INT will give you 8 extra MP per level, 90 INT will give you 9 extra MP per level - just examples )

More base INT means weaker character and higher cost to reset it. Other than that, it doesn't matter. It's okay to have more (but maybe not recommended, I don't know about that - I will let an experienced Thief respond)

For question 3) I will let someone else answer it

So it’ll be cheaper and more efficient to get a certain amount of int then the rest of Ap into hp. That way it’ll be a lot cheaper and efficient?

I think you misunderstood me. No AP ever goes directly into HP. That's called blood washing and will make your character weaker.
Less base INT is cheaper because you don't need to reset as much INT once you're done washing (of course you want no more than 4 base INT once you're playing your character)
However, less base INT may also seem more expensive since you'd need more powerful INT equips instead to reach the same INT level. It is a tradeoff, I guess.

Sorry about that .. I’m not understanding .. so basically you use the extra MP from lvl up reset it to HP? But the Ap from lvl up would be directed to your main stats instead, until u reach a certain amount of base stats ? I thought resetting would be taking the Ap from base int to HP then deduct MP to main stats .

You're addressing things which I didn't even mention in my first post. I addressed only things that are general for HP washing and INT.
You are asking about washing for a thief specifically. I will not step into that field. I believe I know how it works, but I have no experience because I haven't actually done it on a thief. So I suggest you wait for the replies from a Thief.
I can help you by providing some links though.

This cool calculator will provide you with accurate numbers. I believe it'll also give you step by step instructions on how to apply your AP. Download or copy it

Here's a guy who asked similar questions with you. I hope you can learn from him

The second thread helps a lot but they were saying adding the point to hp then take out from mp to main stats. Isn’t that blood wash as well ? So like this. +Hp -mp + main stats ? That’s how you attribute the points ? And for mp washing it would be. +mp - mp +hp -mp to main stats ?

You add to hp with fresh lvl up ap, then reset mp into luk. Hp/mp share the same pool.

    This is correct.

    To answer your questions:

    1. Total MP gain is based on Total INT (Equip INT + Base/AP used on INT).
    2. I used 140 base int myself, and had about 120-130 out of int gear. That means my total INT was about 260-270. I managed to get 10.5K HP and I believe I can still do some washes.
    3. You're meant to reset base INT into LUK/DEX, not HP. I washed my NL like this:

I levelled up and got 5 AP.
    All 5 went to HP.
AP reset MP into LUK (x5).

Washing for thief is different. I'm not sure, maybe someone can correct me on the following but... If you do the regular way (taking out mp to put into HP) you'll get less HP overall than washing the way I proposed above.

You gotta make sure you have built a large enough MP pool to do that though. If you don't have enough MP, you'll have to level up again a few times.
