I've seen several guides on HP washing but these are all based on the mechanics. I don't have the mesos to do it now but I thought if I started a fresh char I want the option to HP wash in future. I've got a bishop that will leech a new character, I'm thinking of paladin. I just wondered what is the cheap/recommended way to build int on this? Should I pump int as I lvl, or should I buy super cheap INT gear? Both? Is there a sort of guide to do it on a budget with the intention of slowly buying ap resets later?

Or is there INT gear lending services?

HP-Washing is very expensive, that's it. I have been very vocal against new players trying to wash.
How about playing the game first? You don't need to.
Anyway, you have interest in making a Pally. Fortunately, Warriors and Buccs are the only viable characters to wash on a low budget since they are the most efficient with converting MP into HP.
For reference, I had spend 6b on APR, before buying gear or figuring out I despise playing a BM to wash mine to 9k HP and 9k MP at level 150.

For Warriors (or Buccs) you can easily buy or scroll very cheap INT gear yourself.
Only 50-70 Base INT will carry you a long way.
Arguably even better, you could even decide to just keep 4 Base INT and just wear INT gear while you leech yourself (or equip your INT gear at 99.99% exp)

If you are looking for the most efficient INT:Meso ratio on a low budget, you can look for the following gear:

    15-20 INT Bathrobe
    10-15 INT Green Bandana
    5-6 INT Red Marker (gloves)
    4 INT Yellow Snow Shoes
    6-9 INT Single Earring
    10-15 INT Yellow Adventurer Cape
    3-4 INT Maple Shield
    3-4 INT Raccoon Mask
1 INT RoA with 0 slots (lol)

    Untrades:

Zakum Helm, lvl 50, throw 10x Hat INT 60 on it.
Horntail Pendat, lvl 120. Keep that until you find a 6-8 Atk MoN
Krex Ring, lvl 80 (I think)
    Maple Leaf, Showa Gacha
Valentine Ring (+3 All Stat, +1 Atk, arguably best ring in the game)
Kapi Ring (1-8 INT, during summer event)
Rudolf Nose (+5 All Stat, during Xmas)
Quest Medal (+5 All Stat, requires 800 completed quests)

For some of the items listed there are lower level variants available, like Yellow Work Gloves and Ragged Cape. However they are much more expensive and a Warri/Bucc is really not in need for that little bit of MP they will offer.
Maple Shields, Eye Gear and Rings are also very expensive for the little INT they offer. Feel free to skip any of the items listed above but the Overall and the Hat.
Only an Overall and Hat with like 50-70 Base INT will compound to more than enough mp around lvl 135 for you to start playing the game AND have sufficient Extra MP to wash for any content you wish to do when the time arises.

A clean Zhelm/Scartar Hat, HTP and some random All-Stat gear will be more than enough to ditch all INT Gear from that point on.

    glhf on the grind :).

My paladin has 29k HP. I added no base int and my only int gear was the standard allstat gear (zhelm dex scrolled, krex ring, htp). I did a bit of HP questing and almost all of Olaf though.
