I'm trying to plan out how I'll wash my yet-to-be-made gunslinger.

I plan to have 80 int by level 30; 40 base int and 40 int from equips. I calculated that I can get in 9 washes at level 30, and then 1 wash for every 2 levels from then on. That brings me to 57 possible washes by level 126. At most, that is only 1140 extra HP by level 126. If I wash out the remaining MP that I have gained from level ups and job advancements, that would only be a few more washes available at most (since pirates lose 16 mp per wash!). I would get roughly 1200~1300 extra HP from my washes by level 126. With deputy star, I would get 100 more hp, so 1300~1400 extra HP.

My target is to have 5.5k hp by level 126, but I'm not sure how much HP an unwashed corsair would have at lvl 120. Judging from my failed gunslinger (I have not washed this character at all), who has 2.5k HP at level 78, I think that I'd have around 3k HP by level 120? 3k +1.4k HP by level 120 is only 4.4k, so I would be about 1k HP off my target.

Can any corsair (or anyone who knows, in fact) share how they would/did wash to 5.5k HP? Did you do it by level 120? If so, with a lot more int than I plan to have? If you didn't do it by level 120, when did you hit that 5.5k HP mark?

    Thanks!

EDIT: On another note, I am only trying to wash to 5.5k HP because that seems to be the general consensus (e.g. Intensity, Pluisje etc). If I don't plan on trying to tank Anego early, is there any reason for me to wash to 5.5k HP, or wash at all? (Because by the time I can go to HT, I'll have 5.5k hp base anyway, and Zak won't be a problem at lvl 120 even when unwashed - Pap might need it though?)

I'm practically 5k hp at lvl 135 on my corsair, with maybe 25 washes done. Leveled without int gear / base int. Still got mana left for another 38 washes.

So if your goal is 5.5k hp, you barely need to wash.

Besides HT, there isn't much use in getting your HP higher than 5.5k. You also get around 300 HP once you hit your 3rd Job Advancement and probably some more for your 4th Job Advancement so you probably don't even need base Int.

Don't underestimate MP bonus from job advancement/leveling. It will get you an easy 40 washes or so.

If you don't have enough MP to wash to your desired HP, you can always MP wash.

Happened to have screenshots of my hp/mp values before and after job advancement.
It will give you an idea of what you roughly get.

On my corsair i reached 5k in my late 13x without adding any extra int (other than zhelm+dep star) and i still have mp i could wash out if i still played on my corsair
Also, don't be afraid of having alot of hp as a corsair. You can definitely have alot more than 5k and still be successful. Just use potions that only heal 2-4k

Some bosses have attacks which drains your HP down to 1, which you are probably aware of. Having 30000 HP means each of these attacks will deal 29999 damage to your battleship if you fail to dismount. Less HP then, means more time on the battleship and in effect, higher DPS.
This is something to keep in mind when you set your HP goal for your Corsair

This is an old thread, I would recommend at least 10k hp to be able to do ht safely without hb. Having 30k hp is excessive but it does not necessarily have a negative impact on your ship hp because you can use potions to only heal you to 10k hp instead of healing to 30k thereby not losing unnecessarily large amounts of your ship hp to 1/1 attacks. If you don't want to wash a lot but still want to ht you will have to rely on hb.

If you're looking for more info about corsair and hp washing for corsair you should check this thread: https://royals.ms/forum/threads/a-comprehensive-corsair-guide.122934/
