Hey Everyone, I've just started on MapleRoyals and while its been great fun I forgot all about hp washing and all that jazz. Was just wondering if you NEED to hp wash to be viable on this server? I don't particularly need to participate on HT runs but will I be too squishy for everything else w/o washing? Edit: Aiming for Corsair and am pretty much broke so I dont have equips or funding required for int equips
The only main boss you have to wash for is Toad , however , you will find it very hard to survive a HT run without washing . other than that your life may not be as easy as a washed char but it will definitely not be bad , so if you don't really care about killing those bosses you should be fine without washing / with a very minimal washing . p.s I think you should consider hp washing after all especially if you are going to pick sair which is one of the best , if not the best bossing class in the game
If horntail and any other bosses higher than it are not what you're going after, then you'll be fine. Technically speaking you don't need to HP wash since it just make the game safer and easier; practically speaking you're advised to do it for an easier time in your journey if you cherish boss fights, which are almost the main activity for end game. But if you're good at controlling your character, have friends that are willing to bring HB for your sake, and some other circumstances that may help, HP wash may not be as crucial as someone who just log in to join random stranger group to boss in this case.
If you're playing corsair you actually don't want to wash at all. The more HP you have the less damage you will do. This is because of 1/1 attacks at bosses. The more hp you have, the more damage your boat will take. Which means it will break faster, which means less damage output during the entire boss fight. The only reason you would wash is for HT, but you're much better off just going with HB instead. Otherwise you'll be making yourself weaker for all other bosses. Zak, papu etc that do 1/1 attacks. Also, sairs are normally not wanted for HT anyway. HT runs = NLs with a BM/MM for SE and a bishop with a SED mule.
