is it necessary to hp wash on a spearman? I've never done it and I'm lvl 63 already... is it too late for me? Should I even bother because of hyperbody?
The main reason for hpwashing a spearman would be having higher hp while using bezerk, which only works @ below 40% health i believe. Since spearman don't need to wash as much as other classes because of always having hb, you're not too late yet.
I am playing a level 147 Drk at the moment. I have not fully HP washed yet, but I have over 16k hp and with hyperbody, down to 40% of that I still get close to being killed whilst berserking. If you are making a HB mule, then this doesn't matter at all as you wont be needing to fight for damage. If however you are trying to make a rounded character that can fight in the late game, I would strongly recommend HP washing, or else you will find it exceedingly difficult to use your berserk skill when bossing/grinding, which is a large amount of the DrK's damage due to the fact that we do not get any good damage skills at 4th job. It is not too late to HP wash, although you will want to get a decent amount of INT. warriors are lucky in that it takes very little extra mana to perform a HP wash, but you will need a lot of washes to gain the HP you might want. How much you want to HP wash depends on your play. I personally want to have 18,750 HP base by 160 because then with HB it will be 30,000 (max HP). Set yourself a target HP you are happy to play with whilst Zerking, and work back from that for your goal. Good luck!
Its not too late, if you plan on high tier bossing you must HP wash, You'll need 19775 HP if I am not mistaken in order to get 30k with HB, Berserk is indeed on 40% which means if you have 30k hp its gonna be 12k and under which is a requirement in order to HT and Zak efficiently. I'd recommend leveling in int right now if you are low on fundings and dont have int equips.
