I was also afk for a few hours before logging off in one of el-nath's mob maps. Why do you think you got banned?: I have one hypothesis, but honestly if this is not it, I have no clue. Today, my friend Tobisair (who was also banned) had a problem logging into his account from his laptop (before he was banned). He had a message saying his account was either deleted or blocked for connection. He thought it may be a problem of connection to the server because he was using a hotspot from his phone. Because of that, he asked me to attempt and log into his account from my desktop, just to see if he was banned. I, of course, obliged and logged into his account through my computer, and successfully did so. I jumped a few times, shot a couple of bullets (on his pirate), just to see everything is responding properly, and then I logged off his account and returned to mine. I believe that my account (or IP address) was banned after my friend's account was banned. I believe the admin who banned my friend's account saw his last login through my IP, and banned either my IP address or the other account that logged in from that IP, which was mine. My friend was banned because he shared his account information with me. Earlier today my friend couldn't log into his own account from his laptop using phone hotspot. He believed his account may have been banned because of a problem he had with the voting site in the morning. All we wanted to do was to make sure that he wasn't banned, so he asked me to log into his account from my home PC. Full disclosure: I am aware that sharing account information isn't allowed, but we did so anyway because we wanted to reassure that he wasn't banned before resorting to ask for support here. I can also guarantee that, except for sharing account information to specifically check if my friend was banned, we did not violate any rules. Furthermore, I did not do anything in his account, and exited it immediately after I was sure he was not banned, and that everything worked properly when logging into his account. If there are any logs of logins and logouts of accounts, I can assure you they will back up what I said here. Ban message when attempting to log in: "This is an ID that has been deleted or blocked from connection. Please check again."
I understand there are only 2 admins and that they have a lot of work before they can check my appeal. But on other posts there are GMs who at least answered why people were banned... That gives the impression that nobody has even read my post...
Hello, Apologies for the late reply. As you have already assumed, based on the response on your friend's ban appeal, yours will also require the Admins to verify if what you are saying above, that you only logged into your friend's account to see if he was banned, is the truth. Unfortunately, I cannot give you an estimated time frame of when they will be able to look into your situation. The Admins always have a lot of tasks to do. I apologize ahead of time for the wait.
