It's simple. Why would I scroll a cape with MP? I asked a friend about it and he was clueless and the only thing tha came to his mind was about washing, but we scroll capes with INT for that. Any ideas about the purpose of a scrolled MP cape?
There isn't really one, unless you want more MP. INT capes are just more valuable, and more useful. The MP scrolls fall into the same category of DEF and most HP scrolls too.
well hp gear atleast have some use maybe if you want to survive a boss run without having enough hp. Def and mp scrolls i dont think theres any use for them.
Much less common with the ease of HP washing, not to mention by bossing levels, all classes have the HP naturally.
idk what game you're talking about... I think that no ranged classes will have 8k hp without washing at 155 for example. However i wasnt really talking about people who were going to kill a boss at "bossing levels" rather just surviving the boss like i said. Perhaps a lower level player wants to buy a horntailpendant or zakum helm when they are lvl50 or 120. Yes hp washing is easier here vs officiall servers back then. That doesn't mean that everyone is willing to spend their nx or mesos to wash their characters though.
I should have added the part about having HB. Naturally naturally maybe not, but DrK are pretty common.
HP gear is good for mages cause they have low natural hp and magic guard. You can survive ht at a low lvl with it as well as bigfoot and other bosses. For other classes def/magic def is better than hp though the def scrolls give very low def while the hp scrolls give a lot more hp.
I get the impression that these scrolls made sense on GMS at some point and just don't any more, but have never been removed for whatever reason. Axe and BW scrolls seem to be in that category as well (correct me if I'm wrong).
Scrolls have always been on a tier system, so to speak. As you play you will come across many useless scrolls that are worthless to you, hence why people just drop them. There is no viable reason for needing MP so that scroll would fall into the useless category.
Back when there was only as far as El Nath and no 3rd job yet (I don't remember which version) There wasn't Top/Bottom HP Scrolls available, so we used to throw 10% DEF on common tops and bottoms Just to get some extra HP. I remember I had a +4 10%s white shirt XD But as soon as they released such HP Scrolls, the DEF Scrolls became 99.9% useless (unless you really wanted some extra def)
