I figured since I/L have the capability of fighting the highest EXP mobs iir (Chief oblivion guardian), does this mean that I/l have the fastest late game training potential? Or isn't this place good? In short, what Mage has the fastest training potential? (excluding Bishops)
I/l does have potential(that's the reason I choose i/l as as my first character choice). The place in ToT that you mention is actually a perfect spot for I/l mage to casting blizzard. Eg:I/L can kill with higher damage towards fire mobs but week against ice mobs. So,if you put an Arch mage i/l in cold shark, the i/l will die fast compare to another class.(Cold shark make i/l slow). But if you mean fastest training potential, personally will said maybe F/p arch mage.*For future,if refer to beta description,I saw f/p have more dmg compare to I/l... Just my 2 cents.
Assume a case ,if 10 mobs per kill (not max mobs killed)and I am guessing that formula will be [exp(x4) x10(mob)]/per hit (time not really calculated...since you mean blizzard*quite slow) Cheif oblivion guardian=[(7060x4)x 10]/2=141200exp for 10 mobs Petriesfighter(could 1 hit in early stage)=[(4550x4)x10]/1=182000exp for 10 mobs I guess petriesfighter will be better . Exp refer to bbs, hiddenstreet. Disclaimer,I am not sure about my calculation is in a wrong way or in a correct way...Need ask other player to conform with this...such as Plenty...correct me if I am wrong. I am a noob about this kind of things.
Assuming you have equal fundings for both classes, I/Ls edge out in front between the two. While F/Ps can potentially one shot Petrifighters at levels as early as 130, I/Ls can two shot O2/O24 with relative ease at level 130 and get comparable XP rates similar to one shot Petrifighters. Also, near the end game, you may eventually gain access to one shot O2, which is a good chunk better than one shot Petrifighters.
