But where and when did this happen? I don't even know what editing WZ files is. Only thing related to walking on plataforms and climbing down ropes that I remember of doing is the zakum jump quest, which im pretty sure is part of MapleRoyals right? I'm really confused. Will I get unbanned? Was this some glitch exploit? Am I IP banned? If I'm not, I'm scared that if I make another account it will happen again. Maybe it was a problem with my patch? or something caused by lag?
Please could you post us a screenshot of your .wz files? Use "Details" view so that we can see the file sizes, please? They should look something like this: Please don't make or login on a new account until we have investigated your case, as we ban by IP and MAC address, not just by account.
Thanks for posting that. Some of your files are the wrong ones, but what seems very odd to me is that your Map.wz is correct. Umm, perhaps you can tell us what was going on?
Well when I began playing some messages appeared that the game was not installed correctly or something like that. I just ignored it because I thought it was irrelevant, perhaps that's what's causing the differences? Maybe if I delete everything and download the client again it will be fixed? I can post a picture of the downloaded new files. edit: just FYI, I downloaded everything directly from the website, and followed the instructions for installation.
It's not impossible that something didn't download/install properly - looking at your game files, there's definitely the feeling that setup was still in progress. Try uninstalling MapleRoyals via the control panel on your computer, and then check to make sure your MapleRoyals folder and any related desktop shortcuts are gone. If they're not gone, manually delete them and then redownload and reinstall everything. When you've done that, please post a screenshot of your game files in the same format as I mentioned above.
I uninstalled MapleRoyals via the control panel and also deleted any remaining folder with the MapleRoyals name just in case. After redownloading it and reinstalling I checked the WZ files and some of them were still wrong, just as the picture from before... I checked the differences between your files and mine and saw that the differences were in the Etc.wz and the Reactor.wz right? I just saw that you have a link below the Maplestory setup download that lead you to the List of WZ Files, can't I update my wrong WZ files with the correct ones listed in the link and post a picture of the updated files? edit: I think the Maplestory setup download link should be checked because I just followed the steps shown there and I ended up with the wrong WZ files again. If this is an issue with the Maplestory setup download, other people might have this problems as well.
Here are my redownloaded, reinstalled WZ files. Also updated the wrong ones with the files from the link posted in the MapleRoyals website. Shouldn't be causing any more problems right? Sorry for all the inconvenience and thanks for the support.
