Ok, so Andreas closed my old thread here:
    https://royals.ms/forum/threads/johns-gm-abuse.58858/

And told me to post in this category instead. So here it goes.

    Character Name: Shorter
Last thing you did: So I was on my HS mule partying two people in Ulu 2, when they decided to kick me and replace me with a Bishop. Fair enough, I get that. Since I wasn't able to find another party, I was just afk on the rope while merchanting on my chief bandit. Suddenly I see John entering the map, telling me that this is my last warning and I have to leave the map. I assume I would be banned if I didn't?

So TIL that being on a rope in a map is not allowed. My HS mule does not have any items, so it's not like I was KSing or touching the monsters at all. I am now "banned" from entering Ulu 2 channel 7 or else who knows what'll happen.

I looked through the rules here and I can't really find the rule about not being allowed to be in a map if asked to leave if you're not talking or killing:

Why do you think you got banned?: Being in a map would've gotten me banned.
Ban message when attempting to log in: Nothing. I was not banned.
What GM banned you (optional): John warned me.

That's not true. You were not AFKing. I was contacted by you via ~gm and you said you were getting reported for hanging on a rope so you were there and not AFK. I arrived on the map in hide and you were talking to the people on the map. I then appeared, used the ~mapowner command, and saw who the map belonged to. I then asked the map owner if they wanted you there and they said no. At that point, I asked you to leave the map. You then started asking "I can't just hang on the rope?" to which I said, "No". I gave you your last warning after you didn't immediately leave the map and instead started questioning my command.

After I resolved the issue and you finally did leave the map, I sat there in hide and you actually had come back on the map telling them if they need HS to let you know after you had already been asked to leave once.

It's quite clear, the owner of the map can ask you to leave the map. When they do, there's no reason to argue as refusing to leave or remaining on the map only strengthens the likelihood of you getting banned should they report you.

As for you claiming "abuse" by me, that's simply outrageous. If you had just left the map when you were originally told to (as you would have been by any GM), you wouldn't have had to be given a last warning in the first place.

I was hanging on the rope for a long while. Then they started saying I would get banned even though I was basically semi afk, so I used the ~GM to ask if that was true because I would like to have a say in it, since I've been banned wrongfully before. I was at the PC but I wasn't playing on my HS mule so it was basically just on the rope while I was doing other things.

I was walking through every channel saying "Need HSer? Whisper me" as a fast way of finding a party.

I read the rules. I do not see anything about this. The closest thing to this is the rule about KSing, which I wasn't. So I don't see how this would've been a problem to you in the first place. I suggest you put this into your guidelines, since they're very unclear.

It can be seen as harassment because you are refusing to leave them alone after being asked to leave and clearly responding. I don't really see why it was necessary to afk there when you can go to the fm with one click.

Is it harassment though? Standing in the map without ksing or talking to them..? What if I was simply waiting for a free map? I can't do that?
