Why do you think you got banned?: As far as i remember aside from someone at FM slandering me for scamming recently there isn't anything i can think of. (If i believe this story was shared to dave on discord to clarify if i broke any rules)
Oh i suddenly remember, i did tried many IP last month with multiple different VPN to try and fix ping issue, which was later resolved and i stopped using VPN

yes, i can explain.
this happened quite early when i first started playing on the server. i was introduced to royals by a friend i met through maplesea, and he helped me get started by giving me items and mesos, including the chaos scrolls and mesos mentioned by you. there was no real-world money involved, and nothing was expected from me in return.
from my memories, i recall just following his instructions over voice chat. he would tell me where to go in game and who to trade, and at that time i didnt really think much about whether it was the same character or different characters. i was still new and didnt really understand that this could be an issue later on, so i didnt bother or remember the specific character involved. honestly i was just here to try royals at that time of point to see if it was playable, and i was told that i could be sponsor by him since he say he dont really play the game much.
everything was done casually, and because of that i ddint keep any screenshots or logs. i understand now why this makes the situation grim.
i was not aware that the accounts involved were associated with RWT activity, and i want to be clear that i am not involved in RWT or any related behavior, from what i remember i abide by the rules and dont recall breaking it. i am willing to cooperate with any reasonable resolution, including removal of the items or mesos if needed. thanks~

just wanna share what i remember. my friend and i only had contact back when i was still playing maplesea, mostly over voice chat. the only characters that traded with me in royals were the ones i mentioned earlier, and i dont remember their igns. last time i saw him in VC was like months ago, he is like gone now.
since then i have been playing royals on my own without any help from him. i also realized its pointless if i i am not the one slowly grinding through progression, thats why i keep playing despite without any help. the only gameplay i remember with him was back in maplesea.

about the “generous” part, i think its mostly because i helped him a lot with bosses there. the game is really pay 2 win and some players dont really spend much into the game, so i often brought people along in my weekly boss runs for the equipments they need, he was one of them.

i wasnt aware that any of the accounts involved were linked to rwt. i am not really blaming anyone at this point, GMs probably have their own set of rules to follow, i guess i paid the price for accepting free stuff, nothing is free. i am still just trying my best and be as transparent as i can from my end, if the staff team who keep track of the logs and details of the game cant even prove my innocence i really dont see how i can help myself out of this shit hole.




here are some of my personal thoughts and rant i really want to say it out here for anyone reading this, THIS can happen to you next randomly.

tbh looking around ban appeals, i dont think my chance of getting unban are even existent with the logic of guilty unless proven innocence, rules stricter than laws applied to criminals/suspect in real life, even criminal get a second chance, even suspect get lawyer to help them. in this case it is basically just the police and the suspect, how can a suspect even proof himself at this point, tbh i dont even know how to help myself here, i personally dont even recall any of the transaction i did last week.

This is my personal advice to anyone who is reading this thread:
after experience it myself all i can say is if you want to stay alive afloat in this server without having to deal with this one day, you should keep all chat logs & transaction screenshot u deal with in the game. like EVERYTHING. if you ever become one of us who appeal here, you are cooked and there is almost no way out for you. just pray and hope the GMs have things that can prove your innocence. or be another guy who spend 1 year time appealing to get unban ONLY if you have evidence u keep track of shit u do, and that is if you even have friends in the game to help you. be suspicious of everyone that you deal with and only deal with people who declare their stuff to you, do not receive free shit unless u have chat log proving it is really FREE. all in all FM is the only safe way to trade without dealing with these, if you are casual like me.



since this is most likely the last nail in the coffin for me here i want to share this, i will still try to appeal for a slim hope of anything but a perm ban. i doubt GMs gonna bother helping me prove myself, they are rather on the suspicious of u side, cant blame them honestly.

I want to share for all Singaporean who are using SINGTEL connection to this game server, DO NOT BUY VPN, waste money not worth it. CALL SINGTEL, tell them your routing sucks, get them to send on site engineer down to check. Rate their engineer 1 star rating and they will call you back. You explain to them your routing so bad, show them screenshot of your traceroute in command prompt, they will attempt to FIX the routing for you. tech support didnt solve anything for me. this can take span of weeks, but save your wallet, and u get stable ping from 200~300ms to 160 to 180ms stable.

IF U REALLY WANT VPN, any VPN with IKEv2 protocol can be used to connect to royals, one example is cyberghost VPN(tested 160~180ms w/ some packet loss) & PIA VPN(203 to 220ms w/ some packet loss on peak hours)

i know this is unrelated to my ban appeal, i hope the GM can keep this in the thread for anyone who did a simple search about ping might ever come accross this and help them out. I went from fluctuating 240ms ~ 360ms with packet loss to 175ms stable almost no packet loss. Hope this will help any future countrymate on ping issue.

 

Like i said above man gone and dusted, run faster than wind and ghosted me like how ex-s would ghost people. if i know his ign i would have share it, if u said whoever i trade with was known RWTers then if i put myself in his shoe. of course he is not going to even help me with this, to come forward and get ban like me, i doubt he would do that, he didnt even show me any of his high level ign during the trades.

Whatever this stalemate not bringing me anywhere anyways like i mention above i have no hope left especially after this message, i am just going to close my journey in this server here and move on with my life. continue invested in time & money here is just pure stupidity from me and waste of your time. "If a ban can happen like this, a ban can happen again in near future." This experience have gave me an eye opening to a system far from perfect, just wait for official maple classic. I wish anyone who experience this in future find themselves a better ending than me. Good luck and all the best.

Been a fun experience in FM, those who know me i wish you the best in royals, i had enjoy my interaction with some of the fun peeps out there. Enjoy while you can, my journey ends here along with my friends who came here with me. We are moving to other server and other games.
