Okay so I got perma banned for voting on 2 chars I have? As a fresh new player 2 months ago I thought in the beginning it was allowed to vote per 1 account and not per household. Later on I figured out per household so I voted 1 per household. As for my brother he also plays maple in the same household but he somehow voted through phone’s internet and other public places on his account so I had nothing to do with it. can you please check the records? I sincerely apologize for voting on 2 chars in the beginning without knowing the rules on voting on each household. I love playing on this server and playing with friends. I would never break any rule for a perma ban.
You mentioned playing in the same household as your bother, did you guys apply to the whitelist? Bans for major vote abuse are issued by admins who have it within their best interest to retain as many players as possible. It's very unlikely for them to take a drastic measure without triple-checking the logs before issuing a ban.
No I actually didn’t knew about applying on whitelist because im new. My brother also didn’t said anything before because he plays alone. A little month ago I moved into my new appartment alone which I’m the only one playing on my household, before that we lived together and played together. It’s ridiculous to punish a new player a perma ban immediately because this is the first private server I play since 2009. If I knew the rules earlier I would never break any rules for a perma ban.
I know that the voting rules might be extremely harsh, but even if you are unaware of the rules despite them being available to you on the voting page, these are the terms of service you agreed on upon creating your character.
Yes I can see the voting rules are extremely harsh. But as a new player I didn’t knew I would like or dislike to play on this server so I didn’t made time to read the terms and I was unaware. But now I live alone and I’m the only one playing on the household so it won’t happen again. I’d like request a PM if need more details. I can’t go back in the past to fix the mistake I made but I do learn from mistakes. We’re all humans and humans do mistakes. Once again I’m very sorry for breaking any rules in the beginning and hope for the best.
Your explanation is fair however the voting rules were available to you every time you voted. I'm really sorry if this is not the reply you are hoping for, but it's not within my jurisdiction to change your ban duration assigned to you by an admin. At the end of the day, these rules are in place to protect fair gameplay and the longevity of the MapleRoyals server. Breaking the rules doesn't make you a malicious person, especially if you have done so by accident as is quite understandable in the situation you have described to me, but it will prevent you from playing on this server in the future.

you didn't vote just at the start of your playing, you even double voted up until 2 days ago on accounts you claim you own. other than that you and the accounts you claim that belong to your brother are online on the same computer and connection at the same time which would be account sharing
I don’t even know how I can double vote if I don’t even have internet at home for almost a month by playing through my phone’s connection and only vote with my phone.. And yes since my brother moved away he didn’t got alot of time anymore to play so I ask him if I could use it as a Storage and Shop mule. All I did was afk in fm stores by selling items I obtained by myself because I had only 2 characters and didn’t want to create more new accounts. If I knew this I would’ve create a new account by leveling to 10 just for storage and sell my items which costs me 30 mins to do and never shared accounts. I played daily on this server and made alot of friends. Got my characters to level 192 and 153 in 2 months by hard work. Why would I do something illegal right now for a perma ban if I almost reach my goal? It makes no sense at all..
An admin who reviewed the voting logs confirmed that the permanent ban for major vote abuse was rightfully issued, on top of another permanently bannable violation of the rules, account sharing. There is nothing left for me to do than to wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors and thank you for your time and patience in the process of this appeal.
